KWP "12 Days of Christmas" 2023
It difficult to parse words into what they really mean sometimes.
But based on what Jackson has said starting 12/1 at noon eastern (10min earlier for subscribers) there will be something released every day
He didn't specifically say "new" and this is a lot for all "new"
some of the legacies will be /24
They are going to sell 15 bundles of EVERYTHING on Friday for $1500
Each day all be announced the day before
Friday is Excelsior III

Re: KWP "12 days of Christmas"
That's exactly how it works He's done this sort of thing before
The releases will include -- let's see what I can remember -- a Mistborn puzzle, a new black Overbite deck, sets of all three Overbite colors, the mystery "HH" deck...
EDIT: Gilded Truett decks too

Re: KWP "12 Days of Christmas" 2023
I was just trying to figure out what 12 new deck things could be.
1. overbite a series of you say 4 now
2. excelsior III
3. LOTR two towers which he announced the KS was done...and it appeared on a. convention table so that seems safe
that leaves a lot of days and a lot of chances for likely either reprints or minor color swaps I guess..and hopefully a few real new decks.

Re: KWP "12 Days of Christmas" 2023
According to the description for the mega bundle: https://kingswildproject.com/products/2 ... ega-bundle
While we do not release the full 12 Days of Christmas list, we can tell you that this bundle will include at least:
38 Decks (Standard, Gilded and Gilded Overruns)
7 Legacy Decks
3 Puzzles
1 shirt
We can also tell you that the bundle will include several unreleased, brand new decks that you haven't seen and that have not been released to the public!

Re: KWP "12 Days of Christmas" 2023
I'm bored so let's do some math On the KWP site, puzzles are $35 and T-shirts are $20, and a legacy Arthurian is $100. Taking off $125 for the puzzles and shirt, it's $1,375 for 7 Legacy decks and 38 other decks:
$1,375 - $700 (legacy) = $675 / 38 decks = $17.7/deck
Not a bad deal at all, just a lot of stuff

Re: KWP "12 Days of Christmas" 2023
By the pip it’s only…. please wait, calculating…
Just over 9 cents a pip on average
31 cents per legacy pip, 5 cents for the rest
pile of pips = 14,500ish
that’s 21 pomegranates worth.

Last I checked, PomegranatePay was disabled on the KWP website, which is quite unfortunate as I have a pomegranate tree.

I don’t think any man should be blessed with both a complete Lotrek collection and a pomegranate tree - it’s just flying too close to the sun…

Day2 (12/2) will be tourists
4 variants
https://kingswildproject.com/products/tourists
Pretty standard deck, I’ll wait for something more novel.

4 editions showing on the page but the gilded version for tourists wasnt sold today (and its not on the subs early page so I dont think it ever went on sale) so who knows.

(this is a kickstarter leftovers so there should be a lot of pictures of this one already)

Not gonna lie, the more I see the , the more they grow on me... Please refrain from posting more pics or I might end up ordering a deck with a tuck box and back design straight out of an Austin Powers movie...

Very shagedelic!
So far, I've been able to keep my wallet closed. Let's see what the other days bring.

I don't think it will be hard to keep it closed for the remainder.

Re: KWP "12 Days of Christmas" 2023
Ive gotten 2 of the 3 things I was looking for, any new overbite decks I dont have would be the last. (LOTR, excelsior 3 because I decided to get the first 2 so I have a burning need to finish the collection despite being lukewarm on it)
I have much less interest in his more standard decks. We'll see what else comes up.
I actually like the coloration on the cherry pi deck but yeah those backs and tucks just arent a draw.

What is happening when Jackson releases a 4th edition that you're less than lukewarm on?

if its tolerable, probably get it. Im operating under the assumption this was a 3 deck series.Harvonsgard wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 1:26 pmWhat is happening when Jackson releases a 4th edition that you're less than lukewarm on?
If this turns out to be an open ended series...I dunno.

I don't see gilded and legacy available on the website so are they a new release? Legacy were only a run of 600 - these are not a reprint are they (you can't do that)Evilgamer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 6:46 pm 12/5 day5 will be the gilded and legacy versions of Alice in wonderland (reprint)
