Looking for Playing Cards Information

Unread post by chicken_ql »

I'm currently looking into working on a new website to browse playing card information and was wondering if anyone had any idea of the best place I can look for good lists of detailed information (stock and finish, printing companies, etc) and good images to procure these kinds of data.

I haven't visited for ages but I guess Portfolio52 is still the best source for contemporary cards. Grain of salt is advised using it though since it's community based and some details might be published there which are incorrect due to being unchecked.
For older decks world of playing cards might be the best source.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.
