Kevork is a tuck fan I can see...didnt even show the cards. its actually 3 decks..and maybe a 4th if Im reading between the possible lines...this is a patreon reward however (full year reward)
I didn't see any pictures of the cards on Instagram. I'm assuming you're a patron? I am not. I thought it was still in the "teasing" stage.
Loving these cards.

Yep, but he intentionally didnt restrict the post to patrons and said to share it, maybe to get last minute annual backers? I dunno if thats it, Theres only 7 and 4 of the bottom two deck tiers available and at this point you'd have to pay the full $300 for a year to get it if you arent already in.
Regardless it looks like a good new series
(This post is open for non Patrons and you can share it if you want!)
I really did my best on this release and I hope you'll like it!

More good news soon!

One thing to point out about this deck is that despite the tucks looking like a simple color swap, the courts are actually completely different for each deck. And as is normal for Gio, they all together tell an overarching story. Really excited for these.

Thanks for posting Hybris!
I confirm that this time Hybris is free to be shared, actually I *want* people sharing it since I've decided for a crazy, disproportionate Yearly Reward to reward my current Patrons and potentially interest some new ones.
I might reveal something else about Hybris during the next following days.
The tuckboxes are actually all different, the backs are not the same (Harmony and Vengeance have the back design mirrored, Cataclysm have a different back design) - I kept the front with the same design for... display reasons (I cannot tell too much about this now).
I wanted to clarify that the $324/year needed for subscribe my Patreon yearly include the
Hybris project (3 decks + eventual other stuff) and also the
future quarters monthly decks, so from 4 to 16 decks (the number will be likely 8/10).
Patrons who subscribed monthly on January are of course receiving Hybris, the "yearly" membership is needed only now since the year is almost over
Like I have did in 2023, my plans for 2024 are to keep all the Patreon decks "limited" and hopefully also "exclusive".

I am *so* in. Can't wait to get my hands on that book to go along with the cards.
I have only a few Patreon subscriptions. This one is a must.

I decided to jump off the patreon wagon after my first year, because I felt that there were so many decks that were just new versions of the same deck. Black market for instance. Now that it seems like there is starting to be a little more variation of the designs...maybe I'll hop onboard for 2024.

His was one of the first I ran across when I was getting into collecting not that long ago, initially I wasn't sold on his art style (hes really consistent but still seems to find a way to stick to theme and make unique art). But in the end his shear output and constant communication made it a must. Plus the backer decks not being really available otherwise on his site is a selling point (they are...but not for a price any sane person will pay).

I grew out of the Gio phase quite a while ago and didn't pay huge attention to any of the recent campaigns/decks. Maybe it's because of my Gio-hiatus but these feel very fresh despite featuring Gio's known style. Great work.

+1.. So very aptly said. OG Monolith and Good/Evil deck are the ones I have and I would buy these if these were available for non patreon (not asking to make these available for non-patreon).

mmm, you may want to keep an eye on the TWI site in a few days then....(or honestly now if you look at things closely, but all should be clear in a few days)
(to clarify slightly now that Im reading this again Im not suggesting hybris is about to be sold...that I know of at least, just other things mentioned that were patreon releases, I see Giovanni came through and didnt correct me or provide more info so I'll just leave it there until he makes an announcement.)

I didn't think about that. That exciting! Kind of like Lorenzo's Polaris box, but that's an acrylic carat case, not wood.

I thought it was made from wood because I think that is what Giovanni said. It's acrylic? That is an important distinction.

Actually I'm not planning to sell Hybris coin - it's included into Patreon, very likely 2023 Yearly Reward (which is 3 Decks + Wood Box + Coin if all goes well).

Whether or not it is eventually able to be purchased in the future is secondary to the unveiling. The main take away here is finally seeing the last piece of the Hybris puzzle that is the yearly reward. The coin looks good and is designed in a way that is expected of TWI. I would like to see TWI coins with cut-outs become a thing. It would elevate them and the brand to another level. It would look great if the black areas between the feathers were cut-outs.

Here's the pricing for the extra seta that were available on Patreon -- I have no clue whether they are all sold out, or will be released publicly, etc.
HYBRIS FULL COLLECTION (€279 - 3 decks + wooden box + coin)
HYBRIS DECKS ONLY (€179 - Just the 3 decks)
