Airline Playing Cards Color Reference Guide by Luc Mertens

Looking into various airline decks I began to run across some listings with a "Chan/Mertens #" -- e.g. DAL-237-A. Turns out there's a whole reference guide put together by Luc Mertens (the late Fred Chan did graphics until 2019)

The catalogue contains 5,270 different references spread over 711 different airlines....

+ 242 misc references (ie playing cards not published by an airline but showing pictures of a commercial aircraft)
+ 100 Not Official Airline Issues (ie decks which we believe they have not been published by an airline)
+ 53 decks which we have not verified if they are from an airline or not
+ 12 Netjets designs
+ 17 Royal Flying Doctors from Australia designs

A very late update: Version 10 (Dec. 2023) featured 68 new airport-themed decks, four new airlines, 25 revisions, 57 other new references, and some new explanatory writings
