[Translated:] A few months ago @aaa.design.milano asked me to tell Milan through a deck of scrap cards. Inspired by the HYPERLOCAL project of @zero.eu this deck was born that tells the story through the 4 districts of Milan, Bovisa, Navigli, Chinatown and Porta Venice.

[Designed by Stefano Romano; printed by Modiano]

Since 1996 ZERO has been the most widely read event and lifestyle magazine. Since 2007 it has been the reference site for knowing where to go, to do what and with whom. Always free, always in the city, both on paper and on smartphones, always in your pocket.

Very cool drawings! I just wish this had more of a playing card vibe.

Cool art for sure and the deck follows playing cards conventions but it indeed - at least for me - opens the question of it still being playing cards or not.

And dumplings suit is hands down the best, haha.

These are based on Italian cards which don't usually have indices - is that what y'all mean by "not playing cards"?
