Process for New Deck: Serpentine Storytelling

Hi all:
I thought it would be fun to share some of my creative process for my revised deck, Bag of Bones. I love coming up with a natural reason for the progression of symbols in my decks, from Ace-10. For hearts, I redrew my old idea of a serpentine creature rising out of the ground, revealing a pattern reminiscent of a Black Widow’s underbelly (displaying hearts). As you can see, it took me several drawings to develop and change the image I was going for. I would love to hear your ideas for how to make this story of hearts even better. Thanks!
