It all started in 1867 with the Russell, Morgan & Co., a printing manufacturer making mostly circus posters, placards, and labels, and later, playing card decks. Due to growing success, in 1894, the manufacturer was renamed The United States Playing Card Co. In 1900, a new factory was opened in Cincinnati, OH In 2009, The United States Playing Card Co. opened it's new facility in Erlanger, KY. Now, The original USPCC facility has been reimagined into a place to gather, to play, to experience, and to be a part of something special.

Only 200 decks available, limit 5 per person. Available now.

I'm really into the design of these so I picked up a pair, plus I finally grabbed a couple Peacocks.

Make sure to drop them a note that you would like them to arrive “undented” - they have had a bout of recent sloppy packing methods for shipping.

I see that they consider it a celebration of the factory - which I am gathering is in that area - so, what the heck, picked up a deck (for the whopping price of $30 including shipping) - and will now hit them with an email asking if it might be made to arrive safely.


I also noted that they have the 200 limit on the bike home page as well

Had 3 in my cart, and by the time i checked out .... poof ... all gone.

I did not realize it was limited to 200 decks or I would have acted quicker.

Sorry - wish I had bought a few extras for you guys - only grabbed the one as I didn’t think it would be a popular grab, was a bit surprised I went for it

And I did find the high limit of 5 unusual for such a small release…. Made me think they doubted it would move as well…

Crazy! Personally, I think that more will be released and USPCC is just trying to hype things up. You would think that with the importance of Factory 52, they would print more than 200 decks. Also, if it was so limited, why only 20US a deck?

I think that this is one of their new tactics. Look at the David Blaine and Peacock decks that they released last Black Friday...they were limited and sold out quickly. Soon after, the Bicycle Peacocks were selling for 100 on eBay and then just recently, they released more on their website at 18 a pop.

I'd rather support Henry. He sold his copies for $65 each and I took a dinged one for $40 since I planned on opening it, which I did. Someone will pay $159 seeing how those eBay auctions went...

This is probably a deck where more exist for the actual location they were printed for.

I'd rather not support scalping at all. Ridiculous that this deck is sold for $40 and well above.

I thought it was rather pricey when I bought it - and that was retail.
