Advice on what designers get wholesale?

Hi All,
I'm considering designing a deck. But I'm trying to figure out what financially I need to be successful.
I was wondering if a wholesaler picks up my deck, after the Kickstarter, what can I expect to get paid for my design for the surplus decks I produce outside of the Kickstarter?
I'm wondering is it like 20% retail? 50%? Obviously, the Card stores need to make a cut, wholesalers need to make a cut and as the designer, I'd like to make something as well.
