With Goldsmith and Villa Beluno prototypes already being worked on, Kevin is already on to the third deck in the CAP series. Sactuary!

Kevin is really leaning into creating decks that feel different from one another but still in his signature style! He's been killing it lately between LOTR and Oscars for T11 and of course his work on Successor. It's going to be a big year for him!

Thanks everyone! Really excited about this launch. We are crossing our fingers that people love the product enough to hop on board the train. We've really tried to make a quintessential collection. We have some other awesome ideas for future decks! The coin on this one will have different color enamels to mimic the stain glass effect.

Gawd, somehow imma a sucker for Stained Glass Window Art - due to those Kingdom Hearts artwork hahaha

Those look fantastic. Really digging this whole series so far.

The black is simply beautiful and screams for cold foil treatment to give the stained glass glowing effect.

However the gold version looks faded in comparison with the reduced contrast. Is there an alternative color for the gold?

i dont feel like going back and tracking it down but is this not the series that is going to be around $100 per set? these look pretty nice but have not seen anything in the series that is gong to get $100 out of me.

That's correct. If I'm not mistaken, he's going off of what a yearly Patreon might look like, such as the $33/month Lorenzo Kings package, although the Kings package comes with a special gift at the end of the year. I suppose it's being justified on Omar's end by the coin and walnut carat case with each release. Honestly, I could do without the fluff and have just the decks for an equivalent Lorenzo Queens price of $20/month. That would equate to $60 per deck set. Marked up? Sure. But much more doable? Absolutely.

So now we have The Goldsmith CAP001, Villa Beluno CAP002, Sanctuary CAP003.

Seeing the draft of those, leaves me convinced that stained glass doesn't work on decks. At least not how it was approached so far.

I'm not in love with the art. I prefer Villa Beluno but I also don't buy religious themed decks so I may not be the most unbiased opinion. Kevin's style has definitely changed over the years but keeps that distinctive Cantrell look. I wasn't into the faces on Goldsmith either so we will have to see how this goes.

That being said, I wish Omar and Kevin success with their endeavours and I will keep an eye on everything.

Oh. These are quite amazing. When will this be launch? I am assuming through Kickstarter? Does anyone know? Tnx.

I love this art, but the "sanctuary" on the front is too hard to read. Fix that, and you could have a winner. Also, what are these thick black horizontal lines for? I feel like they're just getting in the way of the art.

I'd say the black lines shall imitate the lead frames that stained glass windows have.

That's what I was thinking, but I think they're too thick and distract from the rest of the design.

The black lines on the tuck will be black foil embossed. The color will be printed offset cmyk. They are still WIP. Kevin May alter it still.

The Lotrek quest is insanely expensive. TGW prism is at least obtainable.

We do plan on offering some free gifts for those who purchase all four deck sets.

And to answer your question... no, the plan is to release a deck set for pre-order every 3 months. So the first one will be Goldsmith. Then three months latter CAP002 Villa Beluno. Then three months after that CAP003 Sanctuary. Then three months after that.... well you get it!
