I'm not sure if I will be going for this. I used to be a big fan of OPC, but in the last year the designs have been a bit too repetitive. And that big bag in the middle of the king of hearts looks like more like an excuse for lazy designs then a bag of pretzels.

same old formula. dual logo backs and paste some shit onto standard courts. i saw a good show with Deckin' Around with Cam as the guest and he seems like a really nice dude. i just dont see how this line of playing cards ever got traction with these designs but people line up and empty bank accounts for even worse playing card designs so i shouldnt be surprised.

These are as dull as the subject matter.
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

In OPC's defense though - AT LEAST they modify the courts, the colors of the faces follow with the color scheme, and they can do a cute box. ALSO, you can get their new releases for discounted prices in three days period. And for being in it's community, you get special perks.STLBluesNut wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 8:47 am same old formula. dual logo backs and paste some shit onto standard courts. i saw a good show with Deckin' Around with Cam as the guest and he seems like a really nice dude. i just dont see how this line of playing cards ever got traction with these designs but people line up and empty bank accounts for even worse playing card designs so i shouldnt be surprised.
Unlike our infamous superstar Fontaine, that NEVER modify the artwork of the courts and just simply change the back color, and always with the flat price of $15, no discount or whatsoever - The Fontaine Club which is already dead on the start
Not defending OPC - The only thing I kinda a bit dissapointed for OPC is when they start doing Gilded Decks, so now, everytime new releases is on, you got conflicted with whether to get the Half Brick or not to get the Gilded Deck
