Is that a beige colour in the background? Like on the vintage plaids? If so, that's awesome!

Looks like an off-white/beige color to me.

New Update:

We hit 100% and that means we GET FUNDED!!!! Thanks everyone this is really great news. You know what else is really great news? STRETCH GOALS!!! So the first one is an easy one 150% When we hit that all decks produced through the Kickstarter campaign will include a custom deck seal! I will have a picture of the seal up shortly. So keep on spreading the word!

Future stretch goals to include custom Brick Box, New limited edition rewards and possibly a couple 6 sided gaming accessories, wonder what those could be.....

Well I'm glad to see a majority of people are saying the Army Seal. I think that only 2 out of 75 people so far have said the Kickstarter Seal.

I'm also working on the custom Brick Box and it is going to be awesome. I'll post some pictures up here as soon as I finish it.

Army man seal for sure.

Really like this deck, brilliant idea and well done. We'll be picking up a couple for sure! I still have a small/edited collection of the army men I grew up with... can't let em' go.

Congrats on reaching your funding Adam!

Definitely the Army Men seal!

If you do go with brick boxes, I recommend talking to Randy (designer of the ornate decks) because his brick boxes were made somewhere else and they are much higher quality.

Already in talks! You're right the Ornate Brick Boxes are plain AWESOME! They also fold up nice into retail display boxes! Unfortunately they are NOT cheap, and I really have to hit a lot higher goal to make the project profitable.

I inquired about this awhile ago for a previous deck... it isn't cheap. I forget the exact cost but it's not something you want to just throw on there because it is neat looking. I'm going to save that feature for a special project I am working on.

Although, it might look like a serial number stamped into the deck, which would be perfect for this design. I'll run it by Adam.

Love the idea guys!!! Just contacted our USPCC rep to see if this is feasible for this project. I'll keep UC posted on what I find out!

Okay so I have information on sequentially numbering the seals. USPCC recently made a change to their finishing process (I assume this is referring to the final steps, tuck folding, seal application and cello wrap and not the finishing as in Magic finish or air cushion). To have sequentially printed seals they would have to be digitally printed and not printed in a traditional manner using 4 color plates. The new machinery that is being used to apply the seals at the end has to have a special leader strip on them that makes them unsuitable for digital printing. They could still get me sequentially numbered seals I would just have to pay a huge premium to have them hand applied. So it does not look like there will be sequentially number seals on this deck.

TL;DR USPCC can't do sequentially numbered seals anymore.

Update #6

Alright so I have had a lot of people emailing me asking for dice. So I've decide to offer them. But these aren't just regular old dice. they will be custom etched with the Army Men Seal. I'm also not going to take you to the bank on these either. $1.01/each! Yep that's it just 101 cents for a custom dice that will match your decks of Army Men perfectly! If you want the dice just pledge in multiples of $1.01, This is important as this is the way I will be able to estimate my vendor ordering quantities (and I need to order everything way before I send out the surveys). Example. if I receive a pledge for $11.04 I know you wanted four dice and a deck of cards ($7.00 + $1.01 x 4 = $11.04)! Easy as that! Oh Yeah pledge for 20 or more dice and you get a sweet little dice bag to store them in! Okay now that the Logistics are out of the way onto the pretty picture!!

Image
Image

Another cool little reward that I am offering is Dogtags! With the Project Title, the Date that the Army Men Deck was funded, how much was raised and the artist name, that's me! These are going to be only $3 each and if you are in the $7 pledge level you will need to select the $10 pledge level, Everyone else just add $3 onto your pledge.

Image

Thanks again for all of the support I really appreciate it, Please help me by spreading the word, remember a lot of people may like this deck not just card collectors so share these with the world! Thanks again!

Are you sure it'll be that easy to figure out what people want? My pledge will be $24.05 (2 decks @ $5, $6 int shipping, dogtag for $3 and 5 dice for $5.05). Sounds like you'll be doing a math problem for each pledge :P
