Hi all,

here's a sneak peek at the second Wyrmwood x TGW collab, the Corrupted, designed by Xia Hunt, with creative direction by yours truly.

It's gonna be a wild deck. Completely custom. Cold Foil and some gilded edges.

I like what I see...a lot.

Tremendous card. Love the idea of a Yin/Yang split and 'Corrupted' would fit such a theme perfectly. Keep it up!

This looks great. If I see fully custom courts I am usually in.

A part of me feels that the pips/indices are too far up and by the edge. Is the black border part of the card or will it be borderless? Otherwise, I echo what everyone said. Looks fantastic so far.

Black borders are part of the design, they just have the irregular interior edge outlined by the thin cold foil line.

I'm cool with that. Almost gives it an aged, burnt, corrupted vibe which is fitting to the theme. Excited to see how that thin cold foil line will look.

This is a fantastic design! However, I do think the small pips are a little small. The large pips seem to clash with the rest of the art style. I think maybe it's the line thickness, but also the relatively simple design compared to the character. Still, I would love to have these!

Like EvilDuncan I'm not super fond if the pip design but the court art reminds me of vintage european (belgian/french) comic style that I like a lot. Most likely in for an edition of this deck .

The art looks great. I hope you use foil. The back and artwork remind me a bit of the "Fae" deck below. the back is in foil and the photo does not show off the foil at all, but it is very reflective.

Indeed everything in gold yellow will be gold cold foil.

Yes. Until otherwise stated my printing partners will remain cartamundi. They treated me very well so far!

Olde Fae is the name of the deck Bradius has shown. There're two old threads about it here at UC - both with mispelled titles and not merged... (mods smh )

It is called "Old Fae" I believe. Below is a link to the Kickstarter Campaign with more information. It isn't like a poker deck, but something like a matching game like old maid. The artwork though is wonderful.

The video is great. I checked the creator's link, but it isn't working anymore. However, they had another campaign on a Tarot Deck, and one of them has been on Kickstarter this month, so you might be able to message them if you want to see if you can pick up the deck.

Loving the way the artwork is coming along.

That said, part of my background is as a typesetter from way back in the day, and I gotta say... this particular font selection for your Indices is a bit muddy. There are many fonts that evoke that same kind of feel and are also more readable. Imma ask you to please reconsider the font.

Now that you mention it rousselle, the J is incredibly difficult to read easily. The Q seems to be alright. It could be the font and/or that extra design behind it that isn't contrasting enough.

I think the gold border combined with the white background is really what hurts it.

I agree, hopefully they will be made better.

Are the recent allegations against Wyrmwood going to cause any problems with the projects you are working on with them?
