First thing I thought of as well. Additionally that Queen looks very much like the queen from Rick Davidsons origin series.
That being said I do think Jody takes inspiration from a lot of other designers. His 52+ reminded me of Lotrek features. He’s not someone I collect a lot of but some of his older decks are really great. Umbra and Luminosity notably.

Ace of Clubs index is not black?

I'm liking both decks at the moment.

I might back this, IF.... I know the fullfilment won't be as terrible from Jolly Roger campaign

For what it's worth, since then, Jody has fulfilled the Legionary campaign and there were no issues that I was aware of. My decks arrived perfectly and problem-free.

I agree, no issues whatsoever with my Legionary fulfillment.

FYI, there was already a thread on this deck. I am sure the mods will combine.

Why does the Kickstarter page only display the courts from the Diamonds and the Spades? The campaign boasts fully custom courts, but only shows half of them?

They are coming. I just haven't finalized the images yet.

Yes! Zurgery, thanks for posting! We rely upon our fellow members to bring the details of new projects to the forums. That said, we also try to maintain one thread per projects.
I'm merging these two together.

I really like these. I'm in for a sapphire deck.

Think these decks might be one of my favourites..

I'm glad the deck is a sapphire blue with gold instead of black and gold. I'm in for a signature deck set. It was simple and to the point campaigning.

I went back to see the stretch goals. It's almost at 24k so I'll be glad to also get the black and white decks too.

The backs are so beautiful, and I love the design of the fronts, but something about the court character faces really throws me off. Dominion is one of my favorite decks, but I'm needing to pass on this one, sadly.

That Obsidian is a BEAUT. If there's a tier for 2 blacks, or 2 blacks and one of the premiums, I'm in.

I just wish he would foil the cards instead of metallic inks, although with such intricate artwork, it might be a gamble.

The 2 deck and half brick boxes look lovely too but with these decks I might get a carat case for the 4 instead.

I see that as well. Makes it quite difficult to see.

He fixed that on his Kickstarter page. Looks to have been an error.

For the #2 update, the rest of the courts are shown.
These decks are simple yet custom, crisp and elegant.

I find the court illustrations to be *extremely* reminiscent of Rick Davidson's style. This is a truly coherent design, and I have to support that. Deal me in.
