Wasn't there already an AI generated deck on Kickstarter

I love Lotrék's industry's first meme but if being first (while not even being first) is your only marketing point... you're a loser. But hey... it has holographic accents *yawn*. Minus times minus equals plus I guess.

Lotrek? Is it his design?
EDIT Ah ok, now I get it. Sorry.

Not a "proper" poker deck, only some tarot decks.

I announced it before and I'm pre-selling it, but David Blaine's deck for sure will be on the shelves before mine. I don't really know what "counts" and if it really matters, for sure it was just a matter of time. I still have my personal take on the AI-generated images topic and the only important thing to me is to be true to my concept.

I know - it doesn't. What matters is the artistic vision and the execution.

it's a marketing claim, and of course it is important for sales.

They should teach the AI how time works. 13:00 or 1:00 PM. 13:00 PM doesn't exist.

Does anyone have any idea of pricing? I'm assuming at least $30 but is it going to be one of those $60-90 decks?

I believe it will cost 1 human soul.

Miss you, buddy. Did you take a red pill?

I'll be interested when they make an AI generated two-way deck, they can't even do something that simple. Until then it's all just nonsense. AI art is nowhere near ready yet. Midjourney and Dall-e are still in an alpha state and people are just trying to make a quick buck before the real stuff comes online. Waste of money.

Will there might be more of TAIpestry decks or you only made it exactly as ordered?
About being first, you are the first that showed yours and asked people if they like to PO. Perhaps, RedBlack didn’t see yours and they think they are the first. But oh welp, maybe this is similar case with how KWP and T11 did Lord of the Ring Playing Cards?

They ship only to US? I added a deck in the cart to check the shipping price, but it gave me no option of shipping to Romania.

$20.48 for a standard (aka no bells and whistles) deck of cards is a good price? Did I miss something about this deck?

I wouldn't go so far as to call this a "standard" deck and I've seen many others lately, with no-name printers, go for a lot more on KS. I just assumed that these would be north of $30 so I was surprised. I remember he released the Red Gatorbacks in similar limited quantities many moons ago for $35+ and I was so out. In retrospect, the resale value is way more than that nowadays but I still have no regrets because that's not why I collect playing cards.
The fact that these are cheaper than the new Bicycle cold foil Gatorbacks is really the only reason I bought one.

You might have been right. I reported it was $23, shipped and was very up in arms about it at the time
