So the courts just have the name of the actors? I mean, I love Saul Bass' work but he deserves better than this.

Also, there's no such thing as 'Buck Twins card stock'

Courts not going to do it for me either - though the fact they aren’t standard did make my head spin.

As for the stock - there is indeed a ‘Buck Twins card stock’ - not used on all their decks but it is used on the Vintage Plaid and was also used for Steamboats (not sure which others) - here is the ad copy from the Plaids…

Printed by the U.S. Playing Card Co. using an exclusive “crushed stock” process to create a more refined and lighter deck of playing cards developed by D&D.

Dan Buck spoke about this on the Deckin Around podcast. There may be a marketing term by that name but it isn't some proprietary process. The stock is the same as every other USPCC deck, it's just squished a little harder between the rollers.

Exclusive is still exclusive - and I do find them to be different, and quite nice.

Even if it were not exclusive to them, when someone says its on that stock I know what exactly what I’m getting - and I know I like it.

I don't think it's exclusive anymore. How old are Plaids? He says in the interview they were the first to ask USPCC to crush the cards so it was exclusive in that no one else asked. Once it got popular, they offered it to anyone over a print run of 2500, I think (I can link you the interview, pretty sure I've posted it here before). You'll notice these cards aren't marked as exclusive.

The setting they use on the rollers may feel great in your hands, which is all good, but my initial point was USPCC have two card stocks they use, Premium (casino grade) and Classic (everything else). There is no Buck Twins card stock, although they may call their specific variation that if they want to. Dan himself refers to it as "marketing bullshit". I should point out I also like their thin crushed cards.

J&T most likely uses the same preset like AoP/Fultons. I can't feel a difference between their decks.

i absolutely love the orange! the theme and design are still a miss for me even if it is one of the few fulton decks that do not have standard courts.

I had never bothered looking at these in the past, I am a HUGE movie fan but if the courts are really just credits for the film - I would not take them if you paid me

I guess $52 for the gilded was too cheap for him. He had to raise the price even further by 13%.
