The courts in the original decks were not to my taste. The colors in the new edition do make it better, but it's still not my taste

Yeah, I'll be passing on this series of decks but it looks like they are quite popular. The tucks turn me away, especially.

Congrats on reaching the funding goal!

$57 for one deck shipped to my location. Sorry but no thanks! Good luck with the campaign though.

Was initially excited by the design of these, but seeing how much is being gouged out of folks for shipping really turns me off. US$42 is far too much to be charging for shipping anywhere, let alone to Australia in the current climate. Really disappointed that the "starting price" for the pair is $120 (converted). It's a lot more than I'm willing to part with.

The one-way backs kill it for me.

KS update wrote:Hello everyone!

We are **finally** shipping your Kickstarter orders this week. Some are already in the mail. Thank you for being so patient.

The process of getting all these items made and finalized was strangely long and the stress of our company growth made it difficult for me to be a good communicator. I will not attempt to make a long-winded excuse, so instead I want to apologize for the delay and let you know that every order will be receiving an additional Limited Edition Etc. Deck.

Thank you again for supporting this campaign. The playing cards look amazing and I know youโ€™re going to love them.

Until next time,

Tyler Deeb

Owner and Designer, Misc. Goods Co.

Fun courts. I never looked into the decks further because the tucks are just to plain boring for me.

I'm actually thrilled this full-color version of the Misc Goods deck is finally released! Was tempted many times in the past with the standard B&W Misc Goods decks in different tuck colors, but the full color cards finally prompted me to get the Limited Edition deck. Lots of people don't like the look of these or the tuck box, but to each their own I guess. I love the overlaying collage effect to the tuck boxes. Reminds me a lot of what you see on band posters or the style of graphic designers like Charles Spencer Anderson or Aaron James Draplin. (I actually would love to see a playing card deck from one of those guys!)

Aaron Draplin actually did design a deck: DDC-113 "Thick Lines" Edition Playing Card Set

Charles S. Anderson I don't believe has designed playing cards, but this poster gives an idea of what a deck might look like: French Paper Plum Punch Posters

Misc. Goods Special Edition Playing Cards, $20 ($34/two-deck set)

Image

To commemorate the ten-year anniversary of Misc. Goods Co., owner Tyler Deeb collaborated with Dan Christofferson and Brent Schoepf to reimagine his very first deck of playing cards originally launched on Kickstarter in 2012. The Special Edition Playing Cards are fully colored with 6 unique colors and feature new design embellishments not seen on the original Misc. Goods decks.
