I'm out. Bye T11. I'm glad you found a way to make lots of money off of licensing as a mass market brand, but you're just not for me anymore. Good luck on your Harry Styles deck.

While I miss their non-licensed decks, I have no problem with this new approach. Even though the majority of their licensed decks are not for me, at least they seem to be mixing it up. Not to mention, reasonable prices compared to other companies.
Who know how long they'll keep doing this but I think we can assume that they are selling enough of them to keep releasing new licensed decks. Love or hate this approach, it seems to be working for T11. As long as they don't forget: mo money, no problems.

I love TXI business approach. Unfortunately most of their deck designs don't appeal to me and certainly don't hold up to their marketing hype.
I'll be in for the Wu-Tang deck though, haha. (Well, I won't since TXI will smurf up the courts anyways - they love to do that).

T11 is complementing Bicycle as the gateway deck that starts people into the rabbit hole that is our hobby. At least for the custom designer decks. More expensive yes, but they have moved from magic to designer to movies and now music.
They've also gone to the mass market via Target and B&N. A good move since Bicycle has WalMart and Walgreens (and goodness knows where else) which caters to a more price conscious audience.
So in the bigger picture, T11's really helping grow the hobby. Not going to complain there. However, would it kill them to get another designer who is better suited for the theme?

Sharing pics of the deck posted by a Christopher Cramer on an FB group. $20 bucks for these? Some have shared that it's already going for around $75 on Ebay now.
Only good thing I can say about this is that T11 finally gives us a non-monochrome back. Ace is decent. But the courts? Alright, the Kings are ok I guess. The rest, these were the best they could do?

I see 3 currently listed on ebay and 2 sold at that price (both via same listing) - wonder if they were in some rush to get them or if they were unaware that more will be released…. Guessing the latter…
The description of the auction rather misleading, as it implies that they ain’t comin back
“Don’t miss out on this limited edition deck that sold out in less than two hours! These will surely skyrocket in value to collectors of cards, hip hop memorabilia and Biggie fans alike. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of playing card and rap history!”
I could be wrong, but I think that 75 is about as high as that skyrocket is ever going to go…

I guess when you have too much $$$ you don't care enough about how much stuffs cost to do any research on it before hitting pay. This deck was obviously stated on T11 Instagram that they will reprint in early 23 and people still pay 3x for it eh.

Coming back around - Friday at 12pm ET
Says “2023 edition” in the ad copy - figure deck is same, figure same for box - perhaps a different mark or seal - not sure though.

They mentioned since the first release that they would restock in 2023. Might be minor tweaks but my guess is they will be mostly unchanged.

Not quite. It's worse: the vast mayority even without having too much money doesn't care to do basic research. And on top of that, even after TXI or AoP or whoever pulls moves with hype ad copy and stuff repeatedly, they seem to forget it after a drop and still fall for the same shit the next drop of another deck, lol.

Just got to say, I think it's funny that when you search "notorious" on P52 you get this deck... next to four of Lorenzo's frogs

I would be all in for a Wu-Tang deck. Smurfed up or not. But, to do it right, it gotta be in the art style of those old school Kung-Fu manuals!
