I couldn't disagree more. I'm surprised T11 didn't beat USPCC to this but I'm sure happy they didn't, being a bike fanboy and all.

Having said all that, I actually don't even like those movies lol But I will be buying this deck.

Certainly looks like a T11 deck to me.

$12 seems a bit steep for this deck. If T11 did this deck, it would be equally boring, but with a nicer tuck for $9.99.

The courts look pretty weak in terms of the people they're meant to be representing. T11 would have done a better job of that. I am curious who the Queens are. There was his girlfriend and his mother. Will they be using characters from the other two movies?

Also, I hate the colours they're using. Doesn't make me think of the movie at all. Overall a fairly mediocre effort.

Huge fan of Back to the Future. Know of the site where I can actually see a glimpse of the court cards? If the court cards look half decent, I may have to get them. if it looks pretty bad, I hope T11 will come out w thier version soon..

I don't think T11 is coming out with a BitF deck. The above talk is hypothetical as it is the type of deck they would have done.

It will be available through a variety of retailers.
Very exciting!"

I’m super biased to the theme, but I was happy with how this came out. Tuck is great and it’s packed with little references. Three gripes:
1. Card backs are really muddled.
2. Character selection. Linda McFly and the Clock Tower Lady made it in, but not Jennifer (Marty’s girlfriend).
3. Couple of the courts don’t really look like the character that is intended.

But overall…no regrets.

No surprise considering how well the T11 movie decks are doing. As T11 is doing it with USPCC, USPCC know 1st hand exactly how many decks are printed. and how many reprints are done. Probably thought to themselves that they might as well get a piece of that large pie! Definitely easier than how their NFT deck went.

Really interesting observation Eric! I had never thought of Bicycle's direct/retail releases like this, but of course you're absolutely right. Let the smaller designers/creators push the envelope and test the market and get a pretty on-point read on where the market has been and where it's going.

It reminds me a bit of the Amazon Basics brand rollouts, where Amazon has sales / pricing data for everything sold on Amazon, and can pick the best products to knock off... aka release and at what prices.

Looks indeed like someone who doesn't have the liscence of the theme and wants be close but not too close for legal reasons.

Another thing that really hit my nerd sense. The inclusion of the Mr. Fusion module on the back of the DeLorean on the jokers/tuck box. That clearly marks it as the BTTF2 model car whereas the rest of the deck is BTTF1. Whhhhhyyyyyy??

Ditto this. I didn't notice this the Mr. Fusion inclusion. You could get petty and say that it's in the last ~5 minutes of the movie ("I NEED FUEL!!"), but I fully agree with you that Mr. Fusion is a BttF 2 icon.

I like the design of the deck from an aesthetics perspective (ignoring the kinda goofy court cards), but the fan-dom ness is a little bit lacking. It looks like the Ace of Spades design has the Plutonium-only DeLorean shown. I bet the designer Google Image searched different images from the franchise and used that as source material for the design.

I really dig the landscape Hill Valley / DeLorean graphic that spans the two jokers. I'm considering framing them up.

I got a deck myself, although I am pissed because of the tuckbox - I got the one that has a TERRIBLE embossing offset. Even if the embossing is just so subtle, but I am uncomfortable seeing that offset

Overall, the cards are Okay, yet as most would agree that it can done better
