Hi, I've noticed that as of now it is seemingly impossible to create a new account for Portfolio52. Everytime a new account tries to be created an error pops up, and then when a user tries to login, the site says "Email not Verified yet" however, there is no verifcation email because the account encountered an error on creation. Ive tried with multiple different emails, on multiple different browsers, with extensions enabled and disabled, and the especially difficult thing is that with each email I attempt to use to try and create an account, it forbids me from creating another account with that same email, regardless of the fact I cannot login to that account. Just curious if anyone has a workaround or a similar issue.

Just tried it, and it is indeed quite broken - looks like the send mail routine is source of issue - I sent Alex @ seasons an email heads up

Does anyone know if there are any updates on the situation? Ive recently re-tried to create an account and am still getting an error message, albeit a different error message.

emailed support a few days ago, but still no reply.. my small collection is starting to grow and i need to catalog it!

anyone else hear back from support?

Unfortunately no, it has been radio silenece for me as well. I believe it has been just shy of a month since I encountered the problem, so I am starting to lose hope in account creation lol

I’ve been having the same issue, it’s kind of disheartening as I feel like I’m missing out on a big part of collecting culture.

Also bummed since I’m new to the hobby and wanted to start logging my collection.

contacted them on fb last week and finally got a reply that things should be fixed this weekend.. so far nothing though.

it's sorta working finally! can sign up for a new account and also do the email verification..BUUUT the verification link email doesn't show up in my inbox/spam/junk folder O.o

They didn’t bother to clear any failed emails so both of my primary emails still don’t work. I’m not gonna make another email just for this site, so hopefully someone else comes along with a better competitor soon.

My excitement when I didnt get the error screen, only to not get the verification email either lol. And it seems to not have a problem with using any of my dead emails, but they also dont recieve the verification link. At least its progress?

It seems to be broken again

After a ton of tries, Alex and the programmer finally managed to get me reinserted into the matrix. It is working for me at least. One thing I learned during the process is that if you are signing up, you only have about 30 minutes from the time they send you an email to finish your registration process. I am not sure they can reset it easily either if you miss that window.

I am signing up, however I did not receive any email to confirm it.

I would email support and they should be able to help you. Hang in there. Just be patient, I think it is just Alex trying to keep this running.
