some nice looking foil and embossing on the tuck but im over the fanning box design by a couple years. combined with the personal ban on supporting anything disney this is an easy pass.

I have been forced to pass on the entire series thus far, because the cards are so displeasing to me (to put it in the kindest terms I can muster) and the novelty of a nice box only seems fitting to me it enhances the cards inside.

For the tuckists I’m afraid - at least until they show me some faces that didn’t get beaten with the ugly stick (to put it in more humorous, but less kindly terms)

LOL, I see they still print the characters name - repeatingly - on every card. I'm still curious if this is an indicator of Cardmafia thinking their customers are stupid?

Are those pics even from the movies? Those are hideous courts, probably the worst of the series so far. The Spider-Man deck had me hoping otherwise.

No, they probably expect their customers are mostly tuckists who will never open the decks to get the cards out!

I would have been more likely to buy them if they had standard courts.

You not a fan of Queen Thor? I find it very fitting for pride month, lol.

Certainly I’m not going to tell Thor how to live his life, but I do have a vague memory of there being a whole cast of characters on Asgard and in Thors life to choose from - might have been they couldn’t afford the rights, might have been the characters refused to appear drawn in that style…

Thor? More like bore.

Bore is correct. Even at $15.70, I've no interest to get it. The courts are so horrible. 299 available according to SoCal's site and it's still not moving. As mentioned in another thread, that's probably the amount of stock at Murphys or CardMafia.

On a similar note, PCD is having a sale on the Black Panther, Spider-Man and Iron Man variants at $34.99 for those.

You are right about the amount of stock, it's just to have a discount on one of them a couple of days before.

We might be the only two then. I grabbed one also. The tuck is too over the top for me to not grab one at this price.

For $16 I'm definitely happy with these :D Magnetic closure, and the light comes on only when it's opened :ugthink: If you're a tuckist this is worth getting for sure

Hmm. Where is Korg? Where is Loki? Or Odin? The glowing hammer is very fascinating though, and the deck box is stunning.

It's repeating courts, and all are Thor. The cards are pretty blah, but the tuck is fun. At that price it was worth it.

Thanks hsbc, I did not understand why it sometimes appears that the cards are secondary to the tuck that they come in!
You explained it in one word in your earlier post - 'Tuckists'
