I have been trying for weeks to put into words how I "detect" the scam artists of Kickstarter. Short of it is, I approach it like it is the same guy remaking the same Kickstarter campaign, but with different designs (because there is a good chance it is). Broken English that tries too hard to sound fancy. A "story" that has that familiar flow. Photoshops that have the same type of "tooling". Unrealistic goals. Brands that exist or existed but are (usually) esoteric enough to be on page 3+ of Google search. All created by a "ghost" in terms of online social media presence.

I may try to finish what I started when it comes to "breaking it down." Anyways, here is a totally unrelated Kickstarter that I now feel like mentioning for some reason.

Didn’t remember that they served food - went to one in Mexico a long long time ago, somewhere around here is a picture of me fairly skunked posing with a group of friends clinging to the large frog statue out front
