All threads appear as "Read"... why?

I have just registered and all threads appear to me as "already read" and that's not true.

Is there anything I can do against that? I would like to check everything to be sure I have read all threads but now I don't know which I have read and which I haven't.

I don't recall perfectly but I believe that the indicator for read/unread actually just noties you of 'new' posts.

I'm not having the same problem you are.

Thanks Russell, it happens with all the new posts in the threads but, for some reasons, all the threads existent when I registered appear as "Read".

Perhaps I push my elbow on any key

I think the reason for this is that if we have 10,000 posts on here and you just signed up it's unreasonable that you will read through all of those posts.
