Okay at least this time the KS doesn't collide with other big projects. I am in! Hoping there are no crazy editions X.X

These are looking great 100% in on this one. No question about it. Only concern is how roughly the Dominion cards were handled in shipping. Hopefully won't be the same for these!

Printer is again Legends. The fulfillment company will be SFC (send from China).

I’ve learned from Dominion and there will be no damage or stickers on the decks (man I still can’t believe they put the sticker on the front of those beautiful decks). There will be single decks packaged in 200 lbs cardboard, a signature set (signed, numbered 3 deck box set) and a regular 3 deck set called the trio. Each will be packed in a 200 lbs cardboard box. This will almost completely eliminate damage in handling and shipping. I say almost, because you can never be 100%.

By using SFC fulfillment for Kraken will hopefully start in November! Whaaaaatttt! No way, you say. Quite doable I think. ;)

Thanks for the response Jody. I love there is no logo on them. I see you mentioned the trio, yet I only see 2 decks...what would the other deck be? A stretch goal maybe...Oh by the way, If I order Dominion from the website, will they have those horrible stickers, and be shipped in bags?

The 3rd deck will be a tan/brown deck. This will be the gilded edition.

Yes you can order the Dominion on my website, but the fulfillment is delayed until everything is fixed.

Love the theme, and the backs and tucks are gorgeous. Wondering how these will be ready for November. I guess the process has been started already. And I really like LPCC. I always liked them.

initially, i was blown away looking at this campaign. after looking more something began to bother me. the face card art style. while it does not look bad by any means, i dont think the more colorful, even cartoony, style is in line with the more elegant and gritty style of the tuck and card back. the blue background furthers the contrast in the two styles. the card backs and the tuck look amazing though.

i love nautical and pirate themed deck and was extra excited when i saw these kraken tucks! i wish the courts fell in line. i also wish the tan/brown colored tuck was for the calypso/full foil deck. it looks so bad ass but not worth the gilded price tag for me.

QUESTION: what is the size of the metal card? it appears that all the metal cards come in the wooden box. am i seeing that wrong? i dont usually go for non card rewards but the design on the metal card is too good.

Agreed as well. Not a fan of the courts. The tuck and the back: *chefs kiss*.

My feeling about the courts is same with above voices. Would so nice if they are less cartoony.

Decided to drop my pledge. The ongoing shipping issues on the more recent project and the faces just feeling way too busy and overwhelming meant I could pass. Just one of those things.

That's what's making me nervous. Creator keeps saying they're going to work with the shipping company to get issues fixed but the shipping company continues to do what they want. I might just wait to get these once they're out and on ebay

I'm seriously considering dropping my pledge as well due to the shipping issues. I don't mind waiting a bit longer to get my decks instead of getting them early but damaged. It is obvious that the shipping company Jody uses has no knowledge or experience shipping collector's items.

I love these, and assume since I got the pledge that has the 3 decks boxed, it will be OK. Did anyone get the dominion boxed sets, and if so were those fine? Not so sure I would do individual decks, as I don't trust his shipping/fulfillment company with items of a collectible nature.

I got the two-deck Dominion set, no stickers on the decks as they were inside the display box, and the display box had only a very small dent (I'm lucky and seem to have good mail carriers FYI)

All shipping issues that plagued Dominion will be rectified with Kraken. Most of the damages were on the single decks (decks by themselves, not in a two deck box). I am putting a strong corrugated box around the single rewards. They will also not have that barcode sticker slapped on the front of the deck.

There have been some that had some damage to their uncut sheets. I am going to put each uncut sheet in a individual tube. Everything will be packaged before it is sent to be fulfilled.

Just keep in mind, there is always issues with every project. I have been doing this for awhile now and there are always new issues with every project. You can trust that I am doing everything I can to make Kraken a success all the way to your front door.

Thanks!
Jody

My Dominion boxed set came in good condition with no damage to the display box. Then again the fact that I'm in Malaysia, much closer to China than the US, could mean less chance for damage. Less loading and unloading.
