Another one from Albino Dragon that I just came across. Shame they don't ship outside the US it seems. Apparently some of their print run suffered shipping damage and so it is now more limited, not sure how many were printed to begin with.
Back with a black bordered version (again?)- 100 decks, 9 days - not at all understanding why the limit (also limited to one deck per backer - $20)
Is this the same deck - or a new one? Beats me, so I reached out to them and told them I already had the Mausolea deck, asking if this was a new deck or a re-release - they replied:
“Consider yourself one of the lucky ones. We only sold about ten decks before we decided to take them down and do the Kickstarter instead.”
It’s a pretty strange kickstarter for sure - best I can surmise there were very few decks that survived the damage and they did the kickstarter to try to do a fair distribution - $2,000 isn’t much of a recoup from a USPCC print i imagine either…. Still, they might have more decks in the wings - I didn’t ask - but it wouldn’t make much sense to me for them to hold many back
I asked if this was the whole supply or if they were holding any back for sale later
They said anything they didn’t sell on kickstarter “might” be sold (at a higher price) on Amazon
So it sounds like this is all of them other than perhaps some to take care of shipping issues
I appreciate the heads up on this. I ended up finding out about their Kingdoms release after the fact. I saw they did a new KS but pulled the plug at around 80% funding? I checked out their website and they now have a super bundle of all three decks, all three uncuts, some coins, a box, etc. Perhaps avoiding the KS fees or something.
Anyway, it's odd they don't run a full KS for this project and do a new print run. Shrug - just happy to snag one.

You know we still come here regularly and you can just ask your questions in this thread right? It’s way easier than getting a million KS messages.
How many decks exist? Would love to update P52 page
I don’t have a hard number off the top of my head since it’s been months at this point. I think we ordered 2500 but then a bunch of them showed up damaged so the total number is definitely less than 2k. That’s partly why we’re releasing them slowly on the Kickstarter, we want to make sure we can go through each brick and check for any more damages.
We’re moving in a few weeks so we wanted to sell what we had instead of paying for the extra weight. Otherwise they probably would have sat in the spare room forever.
From the art it looks like it's the 2nd ed of the original Mausolea. Actually looks better than the 1st ed version I got.
Wish they shared more details like the backs and aces to see how much different it is from the 1st ed. Appears they will open up 50 slots each time it fills up.
We’ve had some backers ask about getting multiple decks so we may do a 2 or 3 pack bundle. Probably will have an update asking how many people would be interested once we get some more backers
I think that ship sailed a LONG time ago, and Kickstarter doesn't care if you resell or not as long as they get their cut. That wasn't the original intent but there are TONS of projects that are using Kickstarter as nothing more than a storefront.
Not saying I agree with it, but it is what it is today.

Better storefront than Natalia Silva. Dunno why some are sensitive about products exist pre-campaign.
Well, one downside I can see is that a bloated storefront full of pre-order "projects" will likely have less room for new designers/creators to get funded.
