Hi everyone,
I feel very lucky that my card designs have already been mentioned here but I thought I should officially introduce myself. I'm a designer and illustrator and I love cards for their aesthetic appeal - but ask me to attempt cardistry and I'd be picking up cards all day. So kudos to those with skills! But there is still something about the way a beautiful pack of cards looks and feels in your hand.
With the Origins, I am researching and hopefully restoring some of the lost detail from 16th century cards, mainly the Rouen, the source of today's standard. I am aiming for a premium modern deck so this is a merging of old and new.
If you would like to keep in the loop you can subscribe at http://www.originscards.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or visit Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/OriginsCards" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. I'll be visiting the forums also of course. Thanks to those that have made me feel so welcome and your comments which have been very gladly received. Working hard to put together a deck you'll enjoy.
Regards,
Rick
