I like how the orange colour on the edges of the cards (especially with packets) picks up the orange colour on the card backs. Apparently it's something different from gilding. The Kickstarter describes it as "edge banding embellishment colour". Has anyone heard of that before, or know of other decks that use this?
The fact that this project is being printed by KingStar rather than an industry leader is a negative for me though, especially for a cardistry deck, where handling and performance is all-important.

Looking at the feedback on their previous deck plus the printer being basically brand new this is a pass for me without even seeing the design.
Really don't understand how they can propose a cardistry deck from an unknown printer.

Exactly this. A cardistry deck isn't just about looks, but at the end of the day is all about handling as well.

It's not like all others besides the big dogs handle like absolute crap. I personally refrain from judging card handling before my own two hands have spend a day or more with a deck.

Kingstar has fantastic handling. I would actually say its on par with the big dogs atm. Been testing their acelion cyber punk deck.
