Dear collectors!
We are happy to share with you a preview of our next project, which will go live the next week. A year of painstaking work, and two months of delays with the launch, as this time we faced major delays in the delivery of the previous project.
For this project, we decided to change the printing company. We have a plenty of reasons and the main – communication and deadlines. We chose EPCC by numerous positive comments from the artists and backers and we have big hopes for this new collaboration.
This new project will be somewhat innovative for two reasons. The first is the theme of the deck – it is the first deck of cards in history dedicated to the Roman gladiators. We tried to put in these cards all the greatness and victory of these brave people. We hope you enjoy it.
Another reason is crypto currency. In this new project, we also decided to create a new kind of pledge, which so far no one has offered. As you may know, some new marketplaces where you can buy virtual crypto art have appeared recently. Moreover, you can buy art for crypto currency. We decided to create the world's first crypto card, which can be purchased on Kickstarter. When the project ends, you will receive it on your own crypto wallet and resell on any crypto platform. What is the point, you ask? This is a completely new era of collecting, because now you can not only buy a crypto art, but also later sell it!
If you have already heard about this platform, you understand what profits you can make by selling collectibles on NFT platforms. Therefore, in the add-on list on KS we will offer a virtual card. In addition to the virtual lot, you will receive a large JPG file that you can print. You will be able to read all the instructions for creating a virtual wallet and the rules for buying our crypto card in the body of the project, and you will have a lot of time to organize everything. The crypto card itself will appear in the project on Friday. We will also limit the number of these pledges to 20, so we advise you not to procrastinate.

Great theme and I am looking forward to this project, Sviatoslav. Brad Gabbard (@_nativetongue_ on IG) is working on a commissioned Roman gladiator deck as we speak and it looks promising, so it will be a good year for gladiators!
Looking forward to gilded Lightning - I'm hoping that's making progress!

Not for me. The execution is - as always coming from you - remarkable. Very clean and well done.
I have to say that the court card elements are too repeatative for me and the layout of the back design is also too similar to others - Citizens, Artisan come to mind.

Are we certain that the inks will indeed be metallic this time?
As always, love the design, although like Harvonsgard I fear the courts look too similar for my taste. I'll catch the next one!

Has anyone else here received their shipment and is as disappointed in the tucks as I am? The whole elaborate embossing is virtually unrecognizable even in the best light. Honestly, I wonder how something like this could go into mass production - assuming the makers received a physical proof beforehand?
Unfortunately, after the disaster with the missing metallic inks in the previous campaign, this is now the second time in a row that a project by these makers has obvious flaws in quality assurance.
This is all the more regrettable since the actual artistic level IMHO ranks among the best.

I did and I would say I am also highly disappointed in how the tuck turned out.

To illustrate the problem, here is a picture of the tuck cases in strong grazing light:

I haven't' received mine but the comments section is rife with complaints about the misprinted 10H. Apparently there are 2 10S.

When I opened my package, I literally had no idea what decks these were. I assumed I was sent the wrong decks. Seems like a weird choice to foil your logo instead of the rest of the tuck so it stands out more.
I don't understand how Agitcom is having so many issues unless they just don't care. Like Lightning absolutely captivated me, but was still a let down, and now this?
The art style of their decks is gorgeous, but if they continue having these issues I'll stop backing them.

I think it boils down to this: the missing metallic colors in the penultimate campaign were a result of the same screw-up that has now been made once more. Namely, the lack of approval of physical proofs. If the makers are now telling us again on Kickstarter that they "learned a lot", why should I believe that?
And with what's currently going on in the world, I think most people understand when it comes to mistakes and especially delays. But not when it is as avoidable and repetitive as it is here.

When I received my pledge I asked myself what possessed me to back these cards. I don't know what I was thinking!

If you were like me, you got excited with the beautiful artwork and what appeared to be hot foil use. Ah well, that is one advantage of waiting and paying more on the secondary market if something actually comes out that you really want. You will pay more, but you have a much better idea of what you are getting.
I still really like the artwork, I too wish the actual production had gone better.
