The Limited deck is going to be awesome with the UV coating and foil on the backs...will be similar to Alex's NPCCD 2019 decks, but with small planes instead of mosaic. :ugdance:

The way this project is "taking off" ( ) it looks like it will reach $8,000 soon. So the only question is how much will this special deck be?

May have missed it. Printer of the deck not mentioned. I recall from @KingfisherZero ‘s video review that the deck is printed by MPC? Not sure if I’m mistaken.

The prototype was done by MPC (VERY impressively might I add). The decks themselves (as others mentioned) will be EPCC - same (awesome) synthetic tuck and card finish as the previous decks.

I'm in, of course I am. :D Paul is bringing the extras with this one. I'm seeing tiers with boxes and carat cases and stickers and shipping advances and all kinds of good things. Also very cool that he's offered up those signed items for the signed items folks out there. ;) I may have to add an uncut. I have many uncuts and not enough wall space but it's calling to me. Will I be able to hold out and resist the call?

It's about the First Class experience, right? :D

It's not for everyone but I encourage you to give at least one of our decks a try... either a Premier Edition deck or this Lounge Edition. ;)

Wow. It has been a while since I posted an update for the Lounge Edition in Terminal Teal. So, here's an "Executive Summary" for the board.

- Production is complete
- EPCC provided me with a couple sample decks from production
- Production has been en route from the factory since early January
- Production is expected to reach port in NYC this week
- Expecting production to be at JPC headquarters within 2-3 weeks after it reaches port (needs to get through customs)
- Fulfillment will start immediately after everything arrives to JPC headquarters

I am really looking forward to these decks. Standard Back version (just ink on the back design) will be $13 USD on the JPC website and the Limited Back version (ink, silver foil, and UV on the back design) will be $35 USD on the JPC website.

Ryan Smith (IG: @r_smith_creative) captured some stellar shots of the two decks. Here's a couple select photos.

I'm targeting March 2021. I want to ensure all Kickstarter backer packages depart prior to public release (on my website along with other retailers within the community).

Production should be here within the next 2-3 weeks. As long as it doesn't get hung up at port in NYC. Once production arrives, First Class and Priority reward tiers will depart first. Then 2 weeks later, Standard reward tiers will depart. After the Standard reward tiers depart, public release date will be officially finalized and won't be far behind the Standard departures.

Thank you. The foil and UV features on the back design was a great upgrade for the Limited Back version over the Standard Back version. I added additional foiling and UV to the tuck box as well to make it stand out more from the Standard Back tuck box.

Brief and exciting update. Fulfillment has started for First Class and Priority reward tiers! Once the First Class and Priority reward tier have departed, the standard reward tiers will start two week afterwards. The two-week gap is not a delay. It is a perk of the First Class and Priority reward tiers.

I didn't back so, it is kinda none of my business but I'm not gonna lie, this kinda reads weird to me. Decks are ready but I let them sit for two weeks (for certain backers) ...
I guess it's some of this marketing "added experience" kinda things I'll never understand completely 🤷🏿‍♀️.

I get that. It goes with the whole airline and travel theme for a boarding process. I have three phases. Those who backed First Class and Priority get their rewards early. Standard rewards are next two weeks later. Then custom rewards follow afterwards when the product is done and ready. Also, it gives me time to prepare fulfillment in phases.

During a discussion with Kickstarter Support back in 2015 or 2016, I asked if developing a phased fulfillment approach as part of the rewards was okay - they said absolutely and encouraged it as something more creators should consider as part of their reward tiers. So, I've done it every campaign. It's a nice perk for those that pledge. It also holds me accountable to get Standard rewards out right afterwards. Transparency.

That's what I meant, yah.

I didn't think about it being advantagious for you to have a fulfillment in stages, makes sense after a second thought though. Thanks for the added info and perspective.

THIS is what I love about UC. The fact that our community can raise issues respectfully, and project creators can respond respectfully, in turn.

Looking forward to getting my Lounge Edition decks whenever they come in.

New colour now on kickstarter. Like the previous teal a great colour pick, imo. Still not something that stands out enough to make me back it.
