For a moment there, I thought this was a joke for Chris@2Pc@CapraAegagrus. Turns out this is a real thing! Not bad for an initial draft, but just 'Mehhhh' for a deck. Tom has said it best with the courts and blah backs. Not a goat or even a horn in sight. Better animal decks have been done out there.

Note that the images shown are mockups and not the final products, and please be aware that the colors may differ slightly from what you see on your screen. The artwork for the face cards, number cards, and the back of the cards has been finalized and any changes will be miniscule. The tuck box shown is only a proposal and may change by the end of the campaign. The artwork for the Joker cards is still in progress and will be shared during the campaign.

Then it shouldn't be launched on Kickstarter, should it? I don't mean to be short but this deck is not ready. It isn't complete. Lydia, as a person who has never backed anything yourself on kickstarter, please take pause and consider what you would support. If you would support an incomplete campaign with a dollar amount that just won't get the project to fulfill, please do so. After that experience then come to Kickstarter with an incomplete campaign and your hand out. Or... Do your homework and at least finish the design before launching a campaign.

I suspect that this is another one of those corona lock down bored designs. Buyer beware, yep colored red for the red flags all over this one. These goats aren't in a row and even if funding does miraculously spring forth I doubt she'll be able to fulfill.

I'm sorry to say that I partially disagree with you. I do not think it's harsh at all to ask for a complete design before campaign launch. How can a person take this deck seriously or expect it will fulfill once its goal is met, when the creator doesn't take it serious enough to finish the design of the thing? Nor is it in my opinion harsh to give criticism of an obvious weakness of the card back. It's lazy, just like the campaign.

I do agree with you in that a deck of Goat playing cards is an interesting idea. This one could have been that very interesting deck in itself. Could have's however don't get the jobs done. They're like if's and unfortunately this is loaded with if and spiced with could have.

Maybe I’m in the minority but I don’t mind the courts. Sure coulda been more ornate. But they kinda remind me of MailChimp...which I love. The backs and tucks KILL it for me though. They look thrown together and do nothing to bring the theme forward. Pass for me.
