Lotrek Decks Part 3 G.O.B. Oaths, Damask, Silk, Grotesk [THREAD CLOSED FOR NEW LISTING]

Unread post by Bikefanatic »

I’ll be shipping from the United States.

First Class shipping --- $5 USD

Small box Priority --- $8.30 USD

Canada or International --- anywhere from $10.50 to $14.50 USD

I only accept payment from Paypal, you have to use the Sending To A Friend option unless you want to pay more money.
Some decks aren’t sealed, Lotrek didn’t always have cello back in the early days. All decks are new and no damage.

I have another thread titled LOTREK DECKS PART 2. It has (2) Sanctus decks $120, (2) Icons Sacred decks $60 and (3) Grotesk Inferno decks $65 left over. I could lower price on these if you get at least 2 decks from list below, etc. A deal can be worked out for decks in my other threads.

(3) G.O.B. Standard Oath --- $89 USD

Arabesque Gold --- $190 USD SOLD

Silk (Red) --- $150 USD

Damask (Red) --- $150 USD SOLD

Grotesk Signature (red leather tuck) --- $160 USD SOLD

Grotesk Inverted Inferno --- $90 USD

Grotesk Macabre Black Silver --- $80 USD

Grotesk Macabre Black Gold --- $80 USD

Announcement

To whom it may concern......

I've done over 20 selling transactions (thanks for the review Ice_Panda) and haven't had a problem.
There's a difference between negotiating and low balling. At the end, seller has the final say on the conditions. You can't tell them what you want to pay them and how much you think a deck should be.

For whoever buying, give seller time to make a response for your offer instead you writing them constantly. What's with this "let's talk on instagram"? I can understand being contacted through your own email.

As for using the invoice/merchant thing on Paypal instead of sending to a friend, I've done plenty of those too. I haven't fully browse through Paypal but I don't know the actually percentage that's charged. I've used multiple calculators with all them being the same but then Paypal actually charged more than those estimates. As the buyer, be willing to add more money and adjustments can made from there.

I've dealt with enzo on many occasions Mostly on IG where again the guy doesn't stop.

I think new collectors are getting into the game now and are trying to obtain the early releases from Stockholm, Lotrek, Encarded, JR without realizing how much these decks have previously sold for and what they potentially worth now. Especially the rarer low numbered decks.

There are two buyers from Italy that are seeking the same old decks and I have a feeling it's the same guy but thats just my hunch.

I'm sure like most people that sells decks; once a buyers starts with their back and forth, back and forth, trying to lower the price or include more decks in the sale to help justify the overall cost you have to walk.

Once a buyer insists on using the goods & service method and not the friends/family, it starts to make me think "dispute" once received. As f&f, you save yourself the hassle of the person making a false claim bc they "never" received it, or it was "damaged" upon arrival.

I'd stay away from this guy. Far away as many have.

I am a new collector as well and I think this is a great example of how you can burn bridges very quickly in the collecting game. And when you do, its such a niche industry that you are screwed. This is a good "best practice" of what NOT to be like! thanks for the post

Someone who has sold to him in the past should do a "buyer beware" or seller beware post... Just sayin

Is lucas (Luca?) the other one? That dude harassed me on eBay to sell him some David Blaine decks and ship to Italy when I told him I don't ship to Italy. Must have messaged me 15 times, I had to just ignore him

I am a relatively new card collector (one year) and have been here even shorter (a couple months). I did most of my purchasing through eBay, because it was much less hassling to everyone. I must have paid above ‘average’ most of the time; but I also missed opportunities as I did not know how extensive I was to collect and how much I was willing to acquire them (both aspects change as time goes)
I know Luca through Instagram, he appears to be extremely active on Instagram, ‘liking’ lots of posts about decks. I probably should apologize to some of you who find him relentless, for I was the one who suggested him to go on here to find his decks. His English, at times, is incomprehensible, and he is relentless, asking for my help routinely, even though he is obviously pretty successful in his pursuit as his target keeps changing.
Regarding goods and service vs friends and family, as a buyer, I would prefer the former as a way to protect myself, plus it is for purchasing goods so it appears logical. I have not denied any sellers yet if they ask me to go with friends and family. I would have thought something’s suspicious if the seller insists on using friends and family. What if the item does get lost? If it really Is just coming down to a few dollars, I rather pay extra and go with goods and service.
I am looking for Lotrek decks myself and I am definitely not the type to lowball, but the decks I seek must be very rare as I hardly find anyone willing to sell. I’ll play by the rules and bump once a week hoping for the best.

Ps. I don’t think Luca and Enzo are the same person, my impression is Luca is more willing to spend and he is progressing quickly with his collection. Just my hunch.

I don't know who you are and I don't even want to know, but I won't allow you to speak ill of me and my person, making me pass for those who know who. I'm not new, I know lotrek better than you certainly and I know how much a deck can be worth. But there is also a thing called "purchase opportunity" so any offer I have made for sure and due to the fact that you have asked me for a sum, and I am free to offer as much as I want. As for the owner of this BIKE post, I offered him the same amount as his list prices, saving shipping without paypal protection. I offered him more for protection and he never replied. I don't have any other accounts so stop disclosing me negativity under the posts or if you have problems talk to me directly. MOKK TO MAMMT

To be fair, i'm more suspicious of Seller that request for Friend n Family option too. What will happen if my 100$ deck come totally toasted? I did try to request for the option once or twice when i post decks for sale but when declined, i'm totally understand the reason and will happily pass on the deal.
With that said, Cards collecting and hunting require lot's of trust from both sides, so i believe that it's better for newer collectors to built up trust first before attempting to hunt for higher value decks with lower than ebay price. 100$ for a deck of cards could be crazy but 100$ alone is not that much.
Most of Cards collecting forum operate on the basis of enjoying and helping other collectors. The process of haggling blood n sweet for something that could mean a lot to yourself doesn't make sense for a collector and collectors don't really willing to sell their precious pieces cheap to a seller. That's why pushing too much will usually won't bring anything good.
I mostly collect Stockholm17 and always looking for any S17 New/Opened decks/ accessories: Brick Boxes, prints, coins, Pins, ect... If you have some weird small thing and want to trade/sell please let me know! If you are also a fan and have free time to chat, feel free to send me a PM!

To enzoalfano90, do you think if you negotiated right, you would've had the decks now, before other people wanted to buy?

-I deleted most of my messages since your messages were the most with your constant making offers on top of offers, trying to make them lower, etc.

-I do have the screen shot of me telling you "We will not do a transaction. Thank you." Numerous time before that message, I tried to work with you, we still couldn't come to an agreement so when I wrote that message to you, you still tried to make an offer after I told you we're done. That's when I ignored you.

-I was willing to accept the PAYING FOR AN ITEM OR SERVICE but nope, you didn't think of the cost with that.

-Give people a chance to respond to your pages, we got other things going on outside of here. People are in different time zones and such but you were over doing it asking "are you there?", etc. An agreement or purchase shouldn't take 10+ messages.

Paypal payments For PAYING FOR AN ITEM OR SERVICE, most sellers don't want to pay the fee because it'll lower the money they'll get. As a buyer, why don't you pay for the fee? Many people do with no problem though. I'll suggest the buyer add $5-$10 then have the seller refund the difference. Calculators used on different sites are not accurate. I understand how a buyer can be screwed of not receiving anything, getting something damaged, etc. I understand how a seller can be screwed by the buyer making false claims of not receiving anything or trying to get something for free while keeping their money, etc. It can be bad from both ends so I see both sides of the two payment options.

Collectors I'll do more looking around in the BUYER/SELLER REVIEWS. So far it's more people been screwed over on Ebay, none of this site that I know of. On this message board, I feel we can be more trusting of each other since there's a love for the hobby or lifestyle for some, that brings us together. It was said people can sell for how much they want and shouldn't be judged, either you'll buy it or not. As a collector, we all have bitten the bullet once or more, paying $50-$500 for a deck, high shipping prices, etc. That's how it goes if you want it but don't have to be charged an arm and a leg to get something. If somebody wants to cause problems on here, Mike or whoever could find out their Ip address or whatever else.

I was asked who am I from our two friends here on this post and for my piece, Im not going to attack anyone since this is a selling post. For my part "I" have bought from Bike within the last week. I paypal'd him over $400 for a GoG deck that "I" asked for. I didnt ask him to change his way of selling. He told me his terms and I agreed. I also looked at how long he has been active here and trusted that he wasnt going to scam me, and he didnt. The transaction was amazing! I ordered on Sunday and he shipped the deck out first thing Monday morning and I got it in two days. I didnt low ball him and harrass him with PM's, or ask for "pay for services"

On another note I was approached by a seller outside of UC offering me the Venexiana Gold deck. Long story short I did not pick that up because I was nervous about the transaction. I think each case is a different experience but as far as Bike goes he is amazing and makes a lot of effort to help the transaction.

I agree with what Ice_Panda said, it is case-by-case. As a buyer it comes down to how comfortable I am with the seller. I do my due diligence (checking # of posts, how long the person's been on, and the amount of money involved). When I was searching for the Icons Reverse deck, I made a sizable offer and was approached by Dentyne who acted as a middleman. I checked his history and found him to be credible. As a token to thank him I purchased something from him as well. I paid for the Icons reverse deck as 'goods and service' (as a conversation on this never happened and I defaulted with it), and he asked for his item to be paid as 'friends and family' - which I had no objection to.

At the same time I was approached by someone in Reddit who wanted to sell the entire collection at a pretty steep price. In the end it was the fact that he had nearly no 'karma' under reddit that convinced me I couldn't buy from him even if it meant adding 2 more decks I am still looking for now; and I didn't even try to carry out any negotiation because of the potential risk.

So... forgive me for asking, so if I send money to a seller as 'goods and service', and the item is lost, does Paypal penalize the seller in any way?

I am not sure. I do know that if it is a particularly rare deck, I typically bite the bullet and make sure it is insured, which add considerably to the transition cost, but best to be safe. I have done a number of transactions with Dyntene and he is about as good a reseller as you are going to find. I definitely prefer transacting with folks here, as I know where they hang out (and they me as well), so we had best try to sort out amicably any issues.

BTW, congrats on filling that Reverse Icons deck. That is one missing in my collection, but it is too rich for my blood. I have other decks I would rather get for the money. Still, it has a great story that goes with it.

Also, since this is a thread of decks for sale by Bikefanatic. Bikefanatic is a great person to do business with. I have found him a great seller and easy with which to make a transaction.

As a seller, once we ship something, it's out of our hands. What we can do is ship the correct item(s), package it right with bubble wrap & tape and keep the receipt with the buyer's tracking number on it which has where it's been delivered and weight of package. Video recording of sending something and pictures of the package is very beneficial.

The total price for you was $ 408 and I offered you $ 400 with protection and you accepted $ 390 without protection. What would the low bid be?

To conclude I agree with all of you, but not knowing the seller I do business only with "goods or services" unlike someone who thinks (without knowing me) that I want to be smart, I do it because I lost money without receiving decks. I don't judge anyone but I don't admit to being registered by people I don't even know who speak badly of me and of my person making me pass for which horrible people. I am an honest buyer and seller, if they ask me for an amount I make my offer, if they ask for a price I decide whether to accept or not

How do you have so much money to spend on decks when you are clearly a child, mister joined a few months ago but is somehow an expert? Even if you're a legitimate buyer that doesn't mean you can't be an extremely annoying and off-putting one. Get some patience, or some medication, either one because you obviously don't know half of what you think you do and you should be embarrassed of your juvenile behaviour.
