*FEEDBACK NEEDED* Color Codes 52 deck design

Unread post by 3rd dominion »

Dear Cardists,

I have been working on a Color Codes 52 deck in simple and minimalistic style. I am curious about opions – positive or negative. Also please help me to choose back cards (A) or (B) and general face style design (1), (2), (3) or (4).

Looking forward to you feedback.

Back A
Card 3

Not sure what you're idea is for theme of deck. If you can explain that the name would make sense. You have 4 colors, not 52.

Deck isn't in my liking. Too minimal. No idea what the 'L' cards are.
Move on, nothing to see here.

If I have to, I would make the same picks as Rick.
While I have an idea that the inverted "L"s represent the Jacks, I'm not very fond on that design as well.
Minimalism is imo the hardest genre of art to be good at. A lot of designers or folks that want to become one think they can pull it off; truth is they can't.

For the 4-colour stripes on the back and front of card 3, make'm full bleed. That helps to elevate the design at least a tiny bit.
You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that’s being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.
