New deck from Thirdway, just got this on my email.
"THE EARTH WILL TREMBLE. THE SKY WILL FALL. THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE WILL SHATTER."
Can't express in words how excited I am for this, looks spectacular.
(low key need a huge influx of money for this within the next couple of months haha)

This looks pretty incredible and the lore already sounds very Gio-esque in its complexity and depth. Scroll down to the bottom for a perfect message for those who are a bit over-eager along with a tuck box preview

Yess, I've been getting more into these decks with great lore. And I'm especially excited about this one ^^
Nice catch btw, I missed that

I hope it's just one deck, not 2-3.

Knowing Gio, it will be three
at least. His past eight KS campaigns had three or more decks, so I am assuming he will have two standard variants and one (or two) special edition(s). To love Gio is to love poverty.
EDIT: Not to mention, his special edition will only be accessible by purchasing the standard variants as well

Hello UC!
Thanks for posting Apocalisse and for the kind words!
I am evaluating various options for this project, but probably there will be fewer decks than usual, I think just 1 or 2.
The pic above include almost everything shared so far, but if you wish to see the images bigger and micro animations, check the microsite >

Haha congrats for busting the tuck
I keep putting easter eggs at the bottom of my microsites, I'm sure that the veterans are used to this now

2 decks would be good. 1 deck would be awesome.

Probably following the wrong creator.

I wouldn’t mind two decks for this. One standard and one blinged out. Either way, I’m in.

Agree. I'd prefer one deck with a bunch of features, rather than some standard, a custom and a super custom x) Love that way of printing decks, but our wallates can only handle so much.

Since everyone is weighing in I agree with this. One standard and one limited is much much better than one.

Well, guess now I can scrap one of the concept decks I've been working on, lol. This one's looking great so far, though

I will have to ask though, why is Famine (The 3rd knight) only a Jack of D, when the other 3 are Kings? Is that intentional? So far all 4 Knights match the 4 Horsemen of Revelation in the Bible.
Yes, always scroll down and click away at Gio's microsites. Easter eggs are always around with Gio.

Yes, it's intentional!
Mainly because the "King Famine" was shown ... elsewhere, dome days ago

On the thoughts of alternate versions, I personally think that a inverse colour design would be quite savoury. A pure white deck vs the dark grungy deck both having the same feeling of dread(out of words, phantasmic(?))

OK, Gio, I know when we were speaking the other week and you said you thought the next project would be right up my alley, you're damn right it is!
I'd be up for only 2, maybe 3 decks for a design like this. Four seems like overkill. Perhaps something that channels Monolith? I think a full colour/inverse colour/monochrome design is a good call with ... I dunno a gilded version?

Will the deck feature any metallic ink or something similar?
I assume the printer will be USPPC again?
Also, even though I've said to myself that I would have to start spending less money on projects, you seem to be able to suck every last penny out of me
Definitively buying the deck when I can!

Sums it up pretty well
I'm still digesting what I'm seeing here and I still didn't find the right words to express my thoughts on that project...
Something, something between amazed, puzzled, speechless, baffled... challenging.
Tip to the hat Gio! I love the dark undertone and you definitely hit it, at least for me, far out of the ball park with this one.

Honestly I wanna know Gio's Reading list of books he's read. They all feel inspired yet original and just interesting stuffs.

About the versions, altough I haven't decided yet, I'm oriented on a single, luxurious edition, like Pantheon or Black Monolith.
I would like print this with Cartamundi or USPCC - Cartamundi would be my favourite choice, but I am still waiting important answers from them
Metallic inks for sure - green, gold and silver will be metallics. Foil on back may be possible, probably stretch goal.
Haha yes, this is a very "Gio" deck, I agree: there is malice, symbology, divinity, angel pretty queens and a huge backstory.
This was very fun to design by the way.
About the books I've read, my favourites are the books I've included into my decks haha.
Some of my favourite books/authors are: Animal Farm, 1984, the whole saga of Space Odyssey, Chuck Palahniuk (special mention to Lullaby and Rant), Niccolò Ammaniti and "The Rook" by Daniel O'Malley.
Anyways, most of my inspirations is from videogames and comic books (european and japanese, mostly)
Apocalisse is clearly inspired by the Book of Revelation - However, there will be a lot of differences, it's a my interpretation since the book it's very cryptic.
However, I can confirm there is Dragon of the Apocalypse
Thank you all for the kind words, I am happy that you like Apocalisse!

Well now I want to know what video games helped inspire your decks.

@EvilDuncan - well, the list is very long
I'll mention the most important ones.
Dark Souls inspired me a lot, I really like the storytelling of the series. It inspired basically all my decks lores.
Also Final Fantasy is an incredible source of Inspiration.
A special mention for Horizon Zero Dawn who gave me a little extra inspiration for the lore of Monolith (the idea of the Planets "resetted" came from here FYI)
And another game I really LOVE is Fallout 2 - it gave me an insane fetish for 50s cheesy advertising (Pip-Boy!) and influenced a lot of my Order Series, especially the extra cards.
Hope this is fun to know

Hello guys!
Well, Kickstarter approved the project, so I might anticipate this one a little... maybe mid may.
