Coronavirus Affecting Card Printing in China

I received an update from a Kickstarter project I backed, Royal Crown, that says they are in a lengthy delay due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Dear Backers,
It is with deep sadness that I must inform you all that in the wake of the recent Coronavirus outbreak, it has become very apparent to us that fulfillment of the Royal Crown Kickstarter is expected to experience lengthy delays until further notice.
Both CLCPC Studio 52 and RCPCC as of now are officially closed until further notice, and it is unclear when or if we will be able to reopen any time soon. The reason for this closure is that although we are situated in Australia, all of our manufacturing and fulfillment partners are situated in China where this Coronavirus originated, and since China is currently in complete lockdown while trying to contain this outbreak, we are no longer able to arrange for the manufacture and/or export any of any of our products at this time.
I assume this will affect all decks that are printed in China.

I'm not surprised
And in a way this makes me thankful that so many decks are US/EU made - does MPC print domestically or do they outsource to China as well?
Best wishes to China too

In another thread where I mentioned this, Decknowledgy stated that this will affect MPC.

MPC is in Hong Kong, but they print at a factory in China.

RWPPFFShuffle wrote:Just a heads up to anyone shipping internationally out of the US, all priority mail is untracked and uninsured at the moment, with probability of delays. Just sent out a package via prepaid air-mail to the UK, so crossing my fingers Luke gets his decks next week, but honestly it's kind of a toss-up right now. Anyways, not sure if it's the same everywhere, just something to keep in mind if you're picking a prize that requires international shipping.
Thanks for the heads up.
If anyone else knows of any shipping issues due to the Coronavirus I thought it would be a good idea to post it here.
I would be very interested to hear what the situation in Italy is like.
As far as I'm aware all shipping & delivery services within the UK are still running as scheduled at the moment.

There is a lot of information with regards to Coronavirus on the Royal Mail website. Although goods are still being shipped, there are restrictions.
Internationally, some countries are quarantining incoming goods causing delays. There are also a number of quarantined areas that are not having mail delivered at all. You can read all the up to date information for each country here
https://personal.help.royalmail.com/app ... t-bulletin
This information will be the same for all couriers so if you are shipping or waiting for a package internationally, it's worth taking a look.
Remember also that printers may be importing inks and paper from other countries. Thus also causing further delays.

Thanks,
Yeah I had seen the Royal Mail website already.
I was mostly wondering if countries that were on lock down like Italy were still receiving / delivering parcels.
Looks like they are though as a couple of parcels I had shipped arrived today.

Did you click on the countries? There is different information for each, including a list of postcodes that are not currently accepting mail.

Yeah, I saw that.
I was a little concerned as the tracking number on one of the packages I sent said it hadn't left Heathrow a week after shipping it. I finally decided to check Poste Italiane website and luckily it showed as being processed in Torino.
