[Curt] Collection

Hello,
I've just gotten back into collecting after taking a hiatus for the last 5 years or so. Just recently I have managed to get the majority of the collection (roughly 150 decks) back on display, although I still have a few new decks on order. As you can see, the David Blaine/Stutzman decks make up a pretty large portion of my overall collection but I tend to have a mix of designers and themes that I add when they catch my eye.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I will keep this thread as up to date as possible once my new acquisitions arrive.

Thanks! I am happy with how it turned out. It is just a DVD/Bluray shelf that I picked up from Home Depot for $100 but it feels pretty solid and each shelf is supposed to be able to hold 9 lbs, so it gives me a lot of storage space.

That's a great display, aesthetic showcase of decks with good space utilization. Especially considering it's just "boring" shelves

You have definely decked out that display case nicely. I was pleased to see the limited DeNovo decks. I really like that set. As you have been collecting a lot longer than me, you have some really nice sets from before my collecting days. Very cool.

Thank you, I was very excited to pick that set up. It is been quite the fun and expensive time catching up on things I have missed. I've finally gone into a KWP subscription as well, so September's package should build upon my KWP collection quite a bit.

One of the best modern collections of seen so far! I love your display Curt! The octopus makes it complete - though I think you did update the arrangement maybe you can show that as well!
Cheers Tristan

Thank you Tristan, I truly appreciate that! I always seem to be making adjustments when new decks arrive, so it seems to constantly be in movement. Once I get a few more decks in I will definitely have to move some around and post an update. Likely going to need another shelf at some point too, just no idea where to put it

Made a few changes to the main display and added on a new display area. I've got a plan for the fable deck and uncut, just need to find the time to put it all together.

I've taken some updated photos, which I posted on my Instagram last week. I was easier to use google photos to host the pictures, so I have copied the link below.

I love the Turnstyle
Alice in Wonderland decks.
I am a big fan of them as well. I know there are other Alice decks out there I need to get but those ones really do a good job of keeping theme in an elegantly subtle way.

I've posted an update reel with the majority of my collection on my Instagram account. Some decks from last year's post have moved on to new homes and a good chuck of my new acquisitions have been from on the antique side of things.

Thanks! Sorry for the late reply, it has been a bit of a hectic time at work. I would almost be embarrassed to share that setup..... it is one of our side tables that I set up near one of the larger windows in our place that gets afternoon sun. Then I wait for some decent lighting and snap a few photos with my Pixel 5.

This is definitely the direction I am heading with my collection. Although I do adore some of my modern decks, I have been bitten by the antique bug. I should have a couple more beauties showing up in the next couple weeks!

They are actually just trading card holders. Work great for when you want to display the cards without a tuck box.

I don’t know - I think they ripped you off - that deck doesn’t look recent…
I am getting that tingly feeling that says this thread may be getting dangerous for me…
As a side note, while the “gold and black” thing works - I will not rest until that octopus is holding a nautical themed deck….
PM me and I’ll shoot you a Treasure Chest deck - but only if the octopus gets to hold it
