From the KS - "The cards are a standard size poker card size and will be printed on 250-300gsm laminated card for a smooth glossy finish, we have produced playing cards before which have high amount of reviews on other sites with nearly all 5/4* "

So, that makes me think it will feel and handle like a $2 deck of gas station cards. They are being offered at $6 pledge. Also, this is the third creator with a brand new account, no projects completed, no project backed, making playing cards for under $2000 total goal. I just find that rather suspect.

And yea, I don't like the cards.

Will Roya already did this and they were much, much better.

I think these look very good but am very skeptical on the quality. But for under $8 for a deck, I got one.

Yeah, there are so many red flags. And five out of four stars?

Edit: ok, I think I get the 5/4 thing, they're saying they get the max of however many stars a rating system uses, but... :?

I wonder if I should fund this? Like I got the 1 deck for 3 Euro pledge but I'm kinda wavering. Should I?

Can't help with that decision, but I refrain from cheap decks except if the art is outstanding or particularly funny. €3 saved is still €3 saved.

They've posted an update with a small video (4 sec) of the cards being printed. I noticed no registration problems :)

After reading some comments on the project, I searched for ASVP shop and it turns out I already have their other Alice in Wonderland deck.

In the deck I have, the cards are of good quality but there is no Air Cushion finish and so they don't slide as well as Cartamundi or USPCC.
I think that's the only thing that some people may find "less good".

Lol I ended up dropping. It was cute and all but honestly means nothing to me. plus that's 3 quid/euro that I can put towards keymaster.

For decks like this, I don't mind if they don't have air cushion finish or another kind of finish, but it felt like the creator was a little lost with the playing cards "specs" (like people asking who was going to print the decks and they don't know that there is a scene this big around playing cards) and had no idea of how to use a lot of the possibilities that KS have (like ad-ons, some people were asking how much it would be to add another deck to the pledge but they always answered that it was probably not possible). It's probably a standart (cheap) souvenir deck as some people stated above.
I really like Alice in Wonderland, almost any deck with this theme will be of my interest, so I decided to back the project, got luck to be one of the first backers, they did a couple of updates showing the cards being produced and that they are about to start shipping the decks.

I wrote them, they told me address was wrong, but it wasn't.
Other people on kickstarter tell they didn't receive the deck
