Greetings and salutations!

Hello all,

I've gotten into the world of magic primarily, recently (at the ripe old age of 49). It's something I can practice a bit while taking care of a toddler (double lifts, shuffles, etc) as opposed to my larger projects. I'm also a huge RPGer and board gamer.

Probably my Top 5 current favorite decks are:

1) Gentleman Gold by Gambler's Warehouse (seems to be overlooked - hardly any reviews online, but I love the elegance of the courts and backs),
2) Tally-Ho 9's for performing (I like the handling better than Bicycles),
3) Luminosity KSX (Aesthetically I love these)
4) Heretic Lux (See #3 - maybe even more so)
5) Rarebit Gold (particularly because they make a specific trick I've been practicing much easier than most of my other decks, plus I love the whole look and feel)

Honorable mentions: Osiris, Pagan, Artisans (Black and White), Aquila Limited edition, Jaqk Amethyst, Tally-Ho Olive, Tally-Ho Pearl, Lux Aurora, Marchen Schwarzwald

I have a lot of other decks I like a lot, but the ones listed above are ones I really can't find a complaint about.

Welcome. Heretic is probably one of my favorite all time decks.

If you like the 20's vibe decks, you should check out some decks designed by Kevin Cantrell. I think his art is particularly well suited to this era. Some of his recent releases include Tom's Town, Tavern on the Green, Standards (this one is Victorian era though). I can't wait to see what Kevin comes up with The Gentleman Wake for TGW's next deck release. https://kevincantrell.com/

Thanks everyone! I've totally become addicted, but fortunately (for my wallet) I'm now slowing down a bit. The key is not to explore on ebay... Stuff pops up related to what you're looking at, you discover whole new distributors/producers of card decks, and boom, wallet gets thinner.
