Love me some Samurai theme. Not the style I like though. Definetly a pass from me until the rest is better or the tuck box is killing it, which I don't think it will seeing their other projects. Solid work but not to my taste.

Just when I thought I had enough Asian-themed decks. Color me interested.

I'm not a huge fan of the lack of branding but I do love the colors. Still interested but not 100% sold yet.

Well, I like the idea but quite a bit would depend on the ultimate execution - an embossed tuck plus a couple of foiled accents can make it very interesting.

Goketsu Regular and Craft

Wow. The tuckboxes look pretty good.

I kind of wish some elements of the craft edition were on the branded tuck. The rope is too prominent and off-putting IMO. But I'm still pretty much sold.

That craft deck is FIRE. I am hoping I will be getting my Sumi decks soon. I do like stuff from Card Experiment.
That KS is taking forever. Got a weird shipment notification from GW so I think they are on their way.

I just got a message two days ago they were shipping my Craft decks. That was supposed to be a July fulfillment I have backed enough KS campaigns to expect a delay, though. Very excited to receive mine and I will be backing this new campaign for the Craft decks as well. Superb

I received my Sumi decks yesterday and will be backing these. Hopefully, the fulfillment of these decks will be more prompt than Sumi.

The craft version looks great. The regular version, not so much for me.

I like these, and will be backer without a doubt.

Speaking about the Sumi Kitsune decks, i call it bad luck for Card Experiment.
First there was that issuse with Bicycle branding which wasn't allowed to be modified in that way they did... so they did a survey about differnt branding or without any bicycle logo. They decided to do both versions and let every backer choose what what they prefer, which was very nice by Card experiment, not many would do this. Best solution for backers.
And then they had to reprint the Myth Maker Kitsune Craft Deck tucks because of unexpected quality issues.
So overall i see they do their best to make their decks as expected and they do updates why theses delays happen. I prefer waiting a bit longer and get a top quality product.

Awesome! I actually cant remember which ones I am getting except for the sumi craft which I cannot wait for! Hope yours come soon.

One Bicycle-branded deck is $18, shipped. Unfortunately I'm not there yet so pass. Too bad, these looked nice.

I'm in. I was actually hoping to see both versions with a craft edition as I am a sucker for the craft tucks. For the time being, only the Goketsu has a craft tuck option.

And the craft version cards are black. So many aspects of all 3 decks are great, but each has a fairly major draw back as well. I know I want one or more, just have to decide which.

If I could just get white cards in the craft tuck I would be all set. The regular tucks just aren't to my liking much.

Forgot all about the update in early August noting that shipping had started so I was pleasantly surprised by the mail today. Original target fulfillment was May 2020, but I am willing to spot them a few months in the middle of a global apocalypse.


Decks photographed with cellophane intact so as not to give Paul the vapors.

I don't know how many colors are available in hot foil, but either they got really lucky with the limited selection or picked out just the right shade because the blue on the Goketsu Craft is just [Italian chef finger-kiss].

I wouldn't have objected to a little more of it, but it would have been very easy to overdo so I don't blame them for erring on the side of caution. All things in moderation, etc.

Gonna open these bad boys up and then have a busy night of not putting them on P52, because I am a lazy garbage person and if I wait long enough someone else will do it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got my 3 deck set. Great looking decks for sure and the tuck box on that Craft edition is amazing looking and feeling.

However... The Craft deck that I got does not have Jack of Diamonds and Queen of Diamonds. Instead it has the Jack of Hearts and the Queen of Hearts in double. I am the third person in Kickstarter page to report about this so I would assume all the Craft decks are misprinted.

The craft Box is really amazing especially the feel of the material they used.
I opened my craft deck and didn't notice the JoD & QoD issue, after reading your post i checked mine again and yes same thing !

As I don't normally open my decks, especially special decks like the craft deck. I noticed the creator is looking into this issue and will get back with them. I will therefore keep mine sealed for new and be on the look out for their response before taking the drastic step of opening my craft deck

Thanks though for posting about it hear so I am alerted to this issue. You guys are awesome
