I'm wondering what's up with Legends (LPCC) ....
How start.. like 2 years ago there were a lot Kickstarter decks that were printed by LPCC, and they had their own relaeses back then.
I know LPCC uses the same printing facility as EPCC but lately there a only a few decks produced by EPCC and almost none by LPCC.
Of course this has something to do with the competition by Cartamundi which are doing a great job.
So far i can only think of the Wild West decks by Randy Butterfield that were produced in 2019 by LPCC ? !!
There was also that horrible fire in the LPCC warehouse in June 2018 where a lot of their decks were destroyed, but they didn't release a singe deck on their own since then.
I would love to see Legends back on track, because they did some awesome decks in the past (KS Decks aswell own releases).
Right now i personally feel that LPCC is soon a part of history in the playing card industry (hopefully i'm wrong !)
What do you think ??
Is Legends (LPCC) almost dead ?

Azid- Thanks for this post. Well, 'Legends' is still alive and kicking. They will be producing Mythos deck (potentially going live on Kickstarter in Jan next year).Azid wrote:I'm wondering what's up with Legends (LPCC) ....

I am in touch with Lawrence and very happy with the responses & engagement so far. Given Cartamndi + USPCC is a major behemoth now, I believe small printing companies like Legends need to exist so that competition is still there.

Thanks guru,
glad to hear that Legends is still alive
Can't wait to see what they plan in future (crazy things like thread stitching on the tuck )
This may sound stupid but for some LPCC decks i had that feeling that it is something really special in my hand when i opened a package from them
hmmm ... LUXX Greille, Knowledge, Legends Persian Edition, Tough Luck and so a few more

Re: Is Legends (LPCC) almost dead ?
Yep, Lawrence and Legends are definitely still going!
They did a beautiful job with my Wild West, Euchre V2 and Draconian Wildfire reprints a few months ago. And they’re in production now with my Euchre V3 and Indiana Euchre Decks. I also plan to print a new Rome Deck with Legends in 2020.
I’m not 100% certain, but I think Jody plans on printing with Legends again sometime.
I wish more designers had stayed with Legends. They do an amazing job!
I’m glad Guru has joined the Legends family!!
Thanks, Randy

I agree 100%. Knowledge is one of my very favorite decks.

Re: Is Legends (LPCC) almost dead ?
I really like Legends they got the registration on my Rainbow Illusion decks spot on. Lawrence was great to work with. My only issues/concern's would be the time it takes to ship and the cost to ship And now with new customs laws I don't know what effect that will have on cost and ship times.
If at first you don't succeed try try again
