So I really like these and I pledged for a $10 fully custom USPCC deck, shipped which is great. But the back borders are obviously an embellishment since USPCC will never be able to print that close. And the worst feature is the purple full bleed stripes on the front. They should either match the back somehow, not go to the edge or be removed.
Also the video shows a brief view of the tuck (which is backwards?? I don't like that...) but there should be pics and mention of it in the project page.

I don’t know. The whole skeletons theme has been beaten to death (yes, pun intended) by now.

These are... okay. A few years ago, they'd have been a sure-fire winner. But, the pale colors, and the poor differentiation between the suits hold this deck back. The pricing sounds absolutely great, and I hope they are successful for that reason, alone. The designs of the courts are pretty good... but not good enough to overcome the lack of interesting colors. Your mileage may vary.

I really love the back design. Yes skeletons, in the form of the skeleton of a dead horse have been beaten to dust and blown away in the wind where that dust spent millions of years helping to erode the cliff faces of epic coastal shelves before blowing in to the nose of another passing horse and making it sneeze thus beginning it's cycle once more by now. But there aren't actually many good skeleton decks despite that. The stripes on the faces I could take or leave, I don't mind, but I do agree that it's hard to tell the suits apart, otherwise this does stand out amongst it's peers.

I really don't like how some of the designs are cut through the middle with a line break between the two images, most notably in the KoH & JoH, where as other courts feel to have the images more seamlessly merged in the center allowing for a better flow - this might be something the designer should take a look at to not only improve the designs on their own, but also the consistency between each of them as a whole.

I want to like these a lot, especially for the price, but something's just off. Part of it is the color scheme, maybe it's the color balance on my monitor, but the lavender/purple and pink thing is not working for me on this deck. I feel like it should have been green, for some reason. This deck feels very green.
No, I'm not high.

This has almost ended. I really feel that if it doesn’t fund, an invite to UC for advice on how to improve them and relaunch would be really beneficial for him. The idea is nice and it’s definitely fundable.
He’s done seemingly no groundwork on the marketing side and it’s not even in the ‘playing cards’ category on Ks apparently which will really have hurt his exposure.
Despite all this he’s very close. I almost want it to fail so he can relaunch on the advice of this community and be much more successful. Let’s see what happens.

This kind of response is why I am really glad I am part of this community. The constructive criticism and genuine support in this thread speaks a great deal to the quality and integrity I am noticing of UC members. You aren't afraid to state aspects that need improvement and you are also showing support. It's a wonderful thing!
I hope the creator of this campaign is aware of this thread and finds value in the feedback. Cheers

This project funded.
Although yes, the skeleton theme has been done to death in the past, I still think these are bloody fantastic. I would even say that if the project page would have had a more "professional" look, starting with good quality photographs and scans, this project wouldn't have had any problem in funding.
I'll keep an eye out and try to get one in the after market.

I took a flier on these and I'm anxiously waiting to see if it was worth it.

EVERY element (pips, Courts, fronts and backs) on each card has been artistically drawn marrying the human skeleton, music, and the visual representation of sound. The purple and black bar on the card faces creates an incredibly striking design when the cards are fanned, squared or flourished.
Now available at your favorite Murphy's Magic retailer.

Looks like just saxophones on all courts.

I don't think anyone has gotten these yet except for resellers and reviewers. This guy is definitely on my list of never buy from again.
