I cannot say for sure whether this Design Box includes out of print decks. The wording in the listing leaves me unconvinced. AOP will need to confirm this one way or the other. About half of them are sold already and that indicates to me people think this includes OOP decks.

"For the Design Collection, we’re digging deep into our catalog and randomly selecting six different decks to include in a special edition six-pack brick box we made especially for this, and we’re offering it at an irresistible price."

Thanks for the translation. Obviously, some people do need a translation of AoP speak.
Since when did six decks become a "brick"? Did I miss the memo?

I know it's cynical and unfair, but I always look at these sales as a store's way of clearing inventory that isn't moving. Of course, Dan and Dave have been doing mystery bricks for a long time and I'm sure we'd hear if they were awful?

I got a few DD boxes back in the day and typically only got them for 2 or 3 decks. Generally speaking they were mostly decks that didn't sell through their store still =/RelativityCards wrote:I know it's cynical and unfair, but I always look at these sales as a store's way of clearing inventory that isn't moving. That said though, I think they are a great way to jump-start a small collection. And in Dan & Dave's favor, they usually included at least one real gem you couldn't buy in their store to sweeten the pot.

Re: Mystery Box - DESIGN COLLECTION by Art of Play
I've bought 4 mystery boxes / bricks from Art of Play in the past and not a single deck was anything special or hard to come by. I think the rarest deck I ever got in one of those was a Bruce Lee deck, which you can by at retail on eBay.
