Hey folks,
Many people have expressed how much they love the original Polaris Lunar decks so I've been working on the logical next version of the Polaris decks: Solstice Edition. The plan is to incorporate a more colorful design, similar to the originals and a colorful tuckbox to match. Just wondering what you think of the following images...I'm also considering adding a white border to the back design but not sure if I like it better than the full bleeds...
The back designs would also use metallic silver (winter) and metallic gold (summer)

Re: Polaris Solstice Edition
These look great! I always thought they lacked additional colors (apart from Lunar). On Winter Solstice, I would try having the "outside" parts be yellow, same as on the Summer Solstice.

Re: Polaris Solstice Edition
Just to clarify...are you saying you like the more colorful variations (florescent yellow on winter, magenta on summer) over the white versions? And if so, is this what you are referring to by moving those bright colors to the outside...?MagikFingerz wrote:These look great! I always thought they lacked additional colors (apart from Lunar). I only meant for the Winter Solstice, but yes, exactly like the second back you just posted. I still think the "original" Summer Solstice (first picture in first post) looks the best, and those two complement each other well (see pic below). Just my opinion, of course

I see what you're getting at but I want both solstice decks to have some uniformity to the coloration approach. I tried removing the silver/gold metallic inks and replacing with bright colors while keeping some white in the design... I think these could be florescent pantone colors and this combo would really shine...

I actually prefer the big bold green and pink colours. (1st left for Winter Solstice and Summer Solstice) It makes the backs really pop. Plus they match well with the Lunar deck as the Lunar deck has both of those colours in it.
