David Blaine - is he the King of Spades - really?

I have noticed on the Mark Stutzman decks - David Blaine always seems to be the King of Spades (Ask Alexander, White Lions etc) but also on some other BEE brand decks I have noticed this same facecard.
Hollingworth's Green Erdnase Acorn deck for instance - and the Smith deck as well
Now, I have always "heard" this was David - but... is it really?
Why would they stick David's visage on non-Blaine decks? Does it have MORE to do with CARC decks and less to do with Blaine?
Admittedly - it looks exactly like him and I would be surprised to see that it WASN'T Blaine
Has anyone seen "Blaine" magically appear in their decks as well?
