I really like these courts. I can even live with the minimal tuck design. The backs are disappointing though.

I remember this guy posting on reddit, back when he released them. Since then always on my wishlist. The whole deck is pretty nice. Back pattern is beautiful and the price is pretty fair. I don't remember who was the printer though.

HERE for 162 000 Vietnamese đồng which is about 7,3 USD. No idea on how the shipping works. This website doesn't sell their other deck Tự Do, at least I couldn't find it.

That's quite the orgy, I think I'll pass on these.

I'm Vietnamese so I'm gonna chime in on this one. I'm so happy that there's finally a deck that represents us. We've seen a lot of Chinese and Japanese representations so it's about time. Also "tự do" translates to "freedom."

I contacted the creator of this deck and Tu Do. I just bought the decks directly from him and he is shipping them to me in the US from Vietnam.
The pricing was $7 per deck for Toan Dan and $8.5 per deck for Tu Do.
Shipping for 4 decks of each was $26. Therefore, the total price per deck ends up being $11. Not too bad.
He said Toan Dan was on cardstock, Tu Do printed on limited premium cardstock.

As mentioned, kasuma99 hooked me up with these. I hope you like the pictures. There're two versions; the first release is Bridge size and paper cards and the second version are Poker size, PVC cards. Artwork is identical. Card backs have changed colours though.
The first edition tuckbox has glossy UV-spot-ink on the front and back. The second edition has shiny red foil at the back. How shiny you ask,
click here (shamelessly plugging my instagram account here) . Both tucks have the deck name embossed.

Verdict on these:
The handling of the PVC cards is identical to
the Tu Do cards. A for handling.
Only one tiny gripe with my cards (tiny because I don't need them for gameplay) is that the colouring on the back of the cards fades a bit. So for a keen observer they are marked. Which, at least my deck, makes them not suitable for gameplay.
The paper cards are not as good as the Tu Do unfortunately. They are smooth and overall are more of a C in handling. Not cheap souvenir deck bad, but not that great either.
The artwork is more to my liking compared to Tu Do. I really like it and while I still would wish for a more sophisticated look, I can enjoy this whimsical style as well. What I really love is the back design. I know; it might be too simplistic for folks in here and it is one-way but I love it, simple as that
.
