Lots of design elements but all over the place. Typical Elite deck, not for me.
Which is exactly why I'm not backingrousselle wrote:They say a lot of things that don't always turn out to be true. Or, there will be a caveat somewhere that says a certain stretch goal has to be hit first (which never will be).
They have been around for quite a while and strangely have quite a strong following...basically any project they launch is almost a guaranteed funded project...weird, but true...even after they over promise and under deliver, time and time again...smhDecknowledgy wrote:What I'm interested in is how they managed to get 189+ backers just in the first day, it's as if they've mandated everyone of their employees and their families to back and boost the campaign.
Given this, isn’t it odd that they created a new Kickstarter account for this campaign? I had to go looking for what projects they’d done in the past, before reading this thread I thought it was a new creator.shermjack wrote:They have been around for quite a while and strangely have quite a strong following...basically any project they launch is almost a guaranteed funded project...weird, but true...even after they over promise and under deliver, time and time again...smh

Probably completists and Bicycle brand collectors.shermjack wrote:They have been around for quite a while and strangely have quite a strong following...basically any project they launch is almost a guaranteed funded project...weird, but true...even after they over promise and under deliver, time and time again...smhDecknowledgy wrote:What I'm interested in is how they managed to get 189+ backers just in the first day, it's as if they've mandated everyone of their employees and their families to back and boost the campaign.

I am both but have never had any interest in Elite. If I may quote a wise sage, "Some things in life, we just can't explain "TwoPiece wrote:Probably completists and Bicycle brand collectors.shermjack wrote:They have been around for quite a while and strangely have quite a strong following...basically any project they launch is almost a guaranteed funded project...weird, but true...even after they over promise and under deliver, time and time again...smhDecknowledgy wrote:What I'm interested in is how they managed to get 189+ backers just in the first day, it's as if they've mandated everyone of their employees and their families to back and boost the campaign.

They do explain their name change underneath their company brief, though...probably trying to expand beyond just playing cards into Magic.dawn wrote: Given this, isn’t it odd that they created a new Kickstarter account for this campaign?
