Just got the email as well. I am excited but I feel like I have gone WAY overboard this year with KS launches. I backed Invocation, Helheim, Sumi, Monolith, and the Art of Play Zero Deck. Of course, I will back Steve and of course I will take part in his secret sale. Kids are going to get PJs and socks for Christmas this year, lol.

I was able to snag a set of Anubis/Osiris right as the sale dropped, so there's a possibility he might release a few of those again. Not sure what he will release this time but he usually gives us a heads-up. He also released some recolored Muertos decks, though I didn't have the presence of mind to go in on those (Celebration, Love, and Sun).

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

I'm launching it via Kickstarter on March 14th 12PM PST!
In about an hour and a half. Thanks for the reminder.
Thanks Brad! Now I can go quickly to the grocery store and not miss this go live. The shipping rates are most likely going to be too high for me, but I'll be there in spirit. Also I don't have to eat instant noodles for dinner tonight, all the food I have currently is a few packs of instant noodles, 2 onions and 1 egg. I do have Coca-Cola still left so that's something...

I have about 100 Nature Valley bars and a 12-pack of Red Bull.
I get paid, tomorrow, though.

I actually like the cards, I like Steve Minty's work generally, but I'm not a big GoT fan. I'm not sure I want to fork over nearly $200 for a set of signature decks. I REALLY liked the Thorns and Roses decks, but, these I'm not sure I $70 per deck like them.

Got in on the EB pair. From what it seems, the decks are the same for Signature and standard. I don't think I need to spend the extra $$$ for upgraded tucks and gilding. I guess we'll see - updates might change that. For now, it looks like the only limitation is for the campaign duration instead of a set number of decks so I have a long time to change my mind! In any case, I love these cards and September is too far away.
Right now I am in for a full set, including the signatures. However, I agree it is really pricey and I am not sure it is worth the price. I am not as huge a fan of Steve as I am of a few other designers. I like his stuff, but this is pushing it for me. I may just move down to a pair of regular decks.

One thing I've noticed revisiting his older projects is that his former campaigns have a clearer idea about how the signature tuck would look like and operate. This time, it's just a graphic rendering and a cigarette box opening which I assume confuses people why the signatures would be so expensive.

The pricing in this campaign is out of f****** control. For me, $42 for a single standard deck! I'm used to high 20's, but that's quite impossible for me. A real shame, I've also been a huge fan of Steve's work and backed every project (besides signature projects) until now. I'm fast becoming priced out of this hobby, it would hurt to give it up, but that's where I'm heading.
These will be worth having in the archive and it'll be my first of Steve's decks, so I got in on the 6 deck mix which I guess is an Early Bird as it was limited to ten backers.
That said, I'm not as excited by this as I was when I saw Muertos a couple of years back (which I didn't bid for in the end). I mean, it's nice and it'll be great for inspiration. But... nothing incredible.
I'm surprised it hasn't funded though. Interesting.
Not interested at all in the signature deck. I was excited for HANA signature as it was really creative, but this isn't anything too special.
