Down time last night (Fri- / Saturday 8 March 2019)

Many of you would not even know about this unless I posted this message, but UC was dead in the water / offline - for a while, probably 7 or 8 hours if not more) because I was online about 30 minutes before Pete sent me a short note.

There is no easy way to fix it without me being directly involved, actually I should say "no way" period?

Anyway, there was a corrupt file in the backup process somehow, and it was just recycling over and over again. No surefire way to fix that, but it is actually an easy process since we pay for an hourly backup to have recourse should something like this occur. It has before - fortunately only two times in over five years (or more) AFAIK.

Anyway, if you need ANYTHING that requires me to take action, send me a text with subject "UC reset required" to email address "mratledge@aol.com" or if you have a smartphone to 8436960684 and 8434693359 by a text message. One is mine and one is my wife Donna. Right now my phone is still not working 100% even after I had the battery replaced.

I thought about whether or not it was possible to automate the process, but it's not - because of them requiring input that is not predictable. I will think about it more, but in my mind it is very unlikely.
