It is hard to tell, but it looks like another great tuck, but not-so-great cards. From what I can see, just green ink. If there are some custom courts are something amazing I might jump on it. Otherwise, I will just wait for it in the stores. I do like T11 as the cards are decent cards for the masses.

You know, for $10 this is amazing. Really makes me mad at D$D for charging $15 nowadays on AoP. Good for T11 for still releasing fully customized USPCC decks for under $10.
This looks rather nice. I don't think that I'll get one but I appreciate the custom artwork.

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

Just saw the custom Ace"s", not only the Ace of Spades but at least the clubs as can be seen. Also multi-colored custom court cards? T11 has finally delivered something that's interesting

I am stoked! T11 is upping their game finally and producing some great decks with super features. I am definitely getting at least a couple of them. I am not sure if I will order them directly or wait for them to show up in stores.

I quite like the tuck but I'm just not usually a fan of decks like this that "go with" a business or restaurant or hotel or whatever, especially when I haven't even been to whatever it is (Casinos are the exception, to me) Same reason I'm not all that excited about the upcoming Parlour deck even though Lorenzo designed it - like, why do I want a deck of cards based on a YouTube channel? Maybe I'm in the minority here?
Hehe. Then why would you want one based on rectangles or space or norse/greek/roman/egyptian mythology or the wild west or..... you see where I'm going. If we only wanted decks based on places we've been or people we have met, we would be stuck with McDonalds decks and decks of our bosses. Lol.
And most souvenir decks you can get of places you can go are hot trash.

This is so true and I hate it - imagine going somewhere and the gift shop is selling a deck with embossing and cold foil......
That would be awesome! Usually see no tuck inside a crummy plastic case or the deck in a display tuck with a cutout. I haven't bought any but I can imagine most of them are standard cards with custom back and fairly poor quality, but they still charge $15 plus because it says Austin, TX with a boot on it.
I visited a Disney theme park a few years ago and was shocked to discover excellent, custom decks of playing cards at the gift shops outside of landmark attractions, each deck distinctive from all the others in more than just the imagery. Totally worth picking those up.
The Parlour deck appeals to me because it is so meta. It's a custom deck celebrating a virtual space that celebrates custom decks.
As for T11's Tavern deck, I would normally say wait to get it at a retailer, but since this is tied to a specific business with a specific location in New York City, I suspect we won't see this on the shelves at our local B&N or Target. But, hey, who knows?

In a previous life I was a Chef (culinary school, no life outside the kitchen, blah, blah, blah) This deck really hits home for me as The Tavern has always been a place of elegance. It really kicked off around the turn of the 20th century. The artwork on the deck reflects that quite well, and its right in T11s sweet spot.
If you ever have a chance to eat there, dont miss it. John Stevenson the current chef there does a ridiculous grilled lobster risotto with litle bits of mango
Pretty awesome that Theory11 has shipping now for under $3. I used to wait and order their cards in big orders because the shipping was pretty high (for the US at least). But now I don't really have to worry about that anymore. Plus, they've kept everything under $10!
As far as getting the best value for your money, T11 is at the top for me. This one may disappear faster than some of the other "limited edition" decks. I picked up a few for fear of higher secondary prices. Still regret not getting the green rarebit deck, and that is a restaurant too. Only recent T11 decks I am not into is Fallon and SNL. Not interested in TV tie in decks. The NOC was not my favorite either, but Navigators was nice.
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.
When T11 says its limited, do I have to take their words for it? Or most of the times it goes to retails later?

Tavern is designed by Kevin Cantrell. He’s the genius behind the citizens deck which is to date my favorite T11 deck.
I’ll be reviewing these as well as the Toms Town deck (also by Cantrell) in a special episode at some point soon. I think there may be a third deck by him included too.
I saw a post by HSBC above regarding the Parlour. I totally respect everyone’s choice! No doubt. I think for me anyway the idea of looking at a deck of cards as “based” on something is pretty much status quo. A lot of decks have a theme after all. To base the decks on a restaurant or a hotel or a casino is akin to basing it on Greek mythology or Sherlock Holmes. Granted some of those themes are more ubiquitous but ubiquity comes from exposure. Exposure involves putting the brand in question on the tips of people’s tongues and the forefront of their minds. For me, and the TGW brand—my real name is Omar (I am TGW only to the extent the content demands alone lol) it’s about the same thing. The brand of the channel is more than the channel to me. So yea of course some people will not care. But some folks will see the value in what I’m doing and what TGW represents as a whole; a sophisticated and educated celebration of the playing cards hobbyist. That’s what I’m tryin to do anyway. And just how someone mentioned above that they’d never heard of the tavern on the green. Now they have. And they just might be tempted to visit the tavern and become a patron that business. So too I hope those who have never heard the name The Gentleman Wake might do before coming to my business and engaging with it. I can speak directly as to why Lorenzo came onboard other than to say we are kindred spirits and he understands the power in unity. I greatly respect his art and talent and hopefully—perhaps evidently— he extends that respect to me as well. Anyway just my thought process. Once again I appreciate all opinions. I hope to win over every person I can but I understand that I never will please everyone.
Yes, Citizens is a gorgeous deck. The AOS on the back of the box and on the card is the most beautiful AOS I have ever seen. Closely followed by Artisans AOS in my humble opinion.

No offense taken AT ALL! Thank you very much. Lot's of exciting stuff coming! Not just the deck. I've been in Vegas over the last couple of days shooting content with Alex Pandrea for both of out channels and soon moving on to other American cities to do more stuff with yet another guest or two.
I don't care what a deck is based on as long as it has custom courts, I like it, and it's not too over-priced, with few exceptions. This is definitely going on the wish list, green decks are so uncommon too.
