I love the Grid design, It was the first deck I kickstarted and it's one of the ones that proves to me that kickstarter can be used for massively awesome stuff. Can't wait for a full reveal of this.

The NECRONOMICON deck was the Cthulhu Mythos. The name was tweeked due to the Albino deck that beat them to the name.

A new update...

This week we are proud to announce our third upcoming deck. The follow up to THE GRID, GRID 2.0. We have been experimenting with some never before done design features that we hope everyone will enjoy. Watch the following video for details. Holy cow, just when you think you've seen it all, you see something new! I LOVE the UV hidden designs!!! Honestly, I thought the first Grid deck was just OK with awful Jokers, but I'm crazy about the Grid 2.0! These will definitely get funded, probably very quickly.

what UV ink? i know in the past USPCC had UV card stock. what is the story here. are you and USPCC using UV ink for the first time?

The USPCC no longer uses UV Paper Stock, which is what we were originally aiming for. We actually began experimenting with UV during the 1st Grid production last year but it wasn't working well enough so we released it the way it is. It hasn't been the easiest process but we worked closely with the prepress department at USPCC to get what we wanted. To my knowledge, this may be the first deck using UV ink instead of UV stock and definitely the first deck utilizing it with a secondary design on the card.

I think the first to use UV stock was the original Black Tiger Deck by Ellusionist.
But this is the first I've ever heard of UV ink.

Waiting for 4pm.........what a fantastic looking deck. Incidentally, I actually got the original grid deck through Mike's dent and ding sale, haha. Box a little dinged, but cards in great shape. Can't wait for this release

well if i read from the bigger companies .... 1 year in the making and tried 50 different stocks.... and no big changes.
it´s refreshing to see those special inks,boxes etc.
Keep doing changes because that´s what brings the art forward!

While it may not be the most practical feature for a deck (since most of us don't flourish or play poker in UV light), I have to admit its extremely novel to incorporate UV design elements and reveals on the cards. This might be the most excited I've felt about a KS deck (other than decks made by Uusi) and I can't wait to get my decks and uncut sheet!
