Hello everyone,

My name is Isabel and I am from Spain. I have been collecting playing cards since Jackson Robinson's Sherlock Holmes Kickstarter campaign (which I have just checked and it was more than five years ago  ). I am mostly interested in the art, design and illustration in playing cards, but I try to be very picky for the well being of my wallet hehe. I have to admit that I have been regularly checking this forum for years, but I,ve thought now would be a good time to actually make an account in time to vote for the 2018 DOTYs! :ugdance:

Hi Isabel!

Welcome - we're glad to have you finally jump in to join!

I too have to be super picky with a lot of the decks I chose to add to my collection with the very real threat of bankrupting my finances... :ugthink: lol

But I don't necessarily feel this is such a terrible thing because it forces you to really evaluate the quality of a deck and raises your standards quite a bit when you can only afford a few compared to others that can afford to get many more. And, it makes your collection feel much more special knowing that each and every deck was extra special enough for you to choose it over so, so many others, many of which may also have been well deserving as well.

Anyways, please do send in your votes! We got a ton of amazing decks up for consideration this year and it'll really be interesting to see which ones beat out for the title of 'Deck of the Year' in each category - super exciting! :ugdance:

Also, may I ask where or from whom you heard about the DOTYs? :)

I read about it on the forum itself, although I have also seen it announced by TheGentlemanWake in his videos.
