Uphill battle.

You'd have to outdo Arabesque, which I have considered buying recently. Damask was a huge disappointment, so I hope these easily crush them. I'll keep an eye open.

I'm not ashamed to say, I cleaned up my collection and sold 20 decks just to prepare for Lotrek's next release and snag one. Don't know what I'll do next time! I don't understand TwoPiece, if a Lotrek deck isn't good enough, then no deck in the world is, do we actually have the fabled 'collector without a collection because nothing is good enough' within our midst? The same way I'm a car collector, just without the cars because they cost money

I still own some Venexiana Gold and Golden Oath decks.

I got turned off by Arabesque due to the 2nd Edition deck. I still may pick a couple of those up at some point. They're really, really nice.

Damask sucks, though, IMO. Much disappoint.

Art being subjective and all, I wouldn't say that Lotrek is some unanimous "best" in the business. There are still artists like Jackson Robinson and Lorenzo Gaggiotti around.

Now, if Lotrek makes a Big Cat deck (Tigers, Lions, Jaguars, and Leopards for suits), they might be the best playing cards of all-time.

I can just imagine 2P marveling at his Big Cats deck by Lotrek while he sits on his leopard print couch with a tiger skin rug in front of him and his many(at least 5) cats at his side. An absolute thing of beauty.

And you know what? Although I won't go so far as to say damask sucks I will say that I didn't like it nearly as much as arabesque. Sure it was nice but it didn't have the same wow factor.

but don't worry my friend, I'm just a little guilty of this too... sure, me and my cats might have our own language and wear matching onesie pajamas and I'll probably die alone with a 2 dozen more but I'm not that crazy cat lady...

Besides, I'm only replacing non-essential things in my life with cats... like social/romantic relations and emotional availability... my mom always did tell me that'd I'd make some cats very, very happy one day lol

To be fair, that's pretty much me with any animal that isn't an annoying dog. Not to say that dogs are annoying, but people need to train their dogs to behave. I love a well-behaved dog that doesn't jump all over me and lick me without my permission...
